New Orbitcast feature to be unveiled (tomorrow!)
Tomorrow, September 1st, Orbitcast will be launching a new feature that will conjoin a convoluted cacophony of confusion with a mashup of mass mayhem and madness. We've secretly been testing it out, and thanks to help of a select few readers, we're finally ready to launch.
But rather than have ME talk about it... let's see what others in the satellite radio industry are saying....

...check back tomorrow, when all will be revealed.

Shouldn't David Rehr be objecting to you making changes without NAB's blessing and approval?!? I can see the banner hanging out their windows now...

Releasing a major update on a Saturday? It sounds like you guys REALLY have a lot of confidence in it. So much, that maybe it could be removed before Tuesday and this post eliminated and the majority of readers wouldn't be the wiser to the Hindenburg-esque-ness of it all . The HORROR. The HORROR.
Or maybe, it will be, as is more likely, a great addition to an already well-done site. ;-)

The select few are a bunch of drunks to hear Xm/Sirius 24/7. The rumor is that Orbitcast is going to merge with every other SatRad website.

Ryan
I think it is great you have decided to give away a free Porche to the person with the most intelligent, informed, relevant, and well-thought-out posts here in the last 14 days.
I can't wait to see who the winner will be!

I have a guest. Orbitcast is getting the new talk channel on Sirius, they've been testing people secretly to find talent for the channel!

Your all wrong...me and Ryan go way back....here is the scoop and I might lose his friendship talking about this. Here goes.....he got a high paying job and I mean a HIGH paying job in Terresrial radio as a spokesman...SO he will soon get rid of Orbitcast and will be attacking the thing he loved...SatRad. He's a turncoat. I told you first.

Orbitcast is already the premier blog covering satellite radio (and by extension, one of the premier blogs covering the radio industry).
Recently, it has only expanded its lead as other satrad blogs have fallen by the wayside.
But there is a feature that most of the other satellite enthusiast sites have that Tha OC has until now lacked.
I am a beta-tester for that feature, I should note.
The new feature will be stupendous.
Cacophonies of Orbitcast users will sing its praises.
Acrostics may even be written as odes to Ryan.
Songs, perhaps as well.
The other satellite sites will finally bow down before Orbitcast.
For none of them can deliver what Orbitcast will deliver.
Of that I am sure.
Ryan's power over the satellite radio industry will be unparallelled, at least among those not employed by Sirius, XM, or the FCC.
Until tomorrow, most of you can only speculate over what this new feature is and what it will mean.
My take, though, is that this is the most momentous event in satellite radio since the merger was advanced.
So the Sun will rise tomorrow and with it a new day for satellite radio on the web.

Yeah...what he said....IT's gonna be a fun time for anyone who enjoys Orbitcast...even though Ryan is leaving us for Traditional radio.

Judging from that photo, Bubba is the guy Senator Larry Craig was hoping was in the next stall.
