Google Phone? They can't even get their mobile website to work properly. Now IE Mobile detects that I am excessing their page from a mobile devise and they automatically direct me to a a search page that gives crappy results with crappy unreadable pages.
Is Forbes Crazy?
They continue to publish negative articles relating to the SIRIUS/XM proposed Merger. Who the hell are reading their "tea leaves" and "Magic Eight Balls?"
Let's REALLY take a look at what happened during the FCC meeting with Congress on Wednesday. First off, the Democrats of the House could NOT wait to tear into Mr. Martin.Yes, they certainly did lambast him, criticize him and demoralize the man in front of cameras and microphones broadcasting the meeting nationwide.
Now, with regard to the merger, Congress has no say in the matter. They can ask questions, which they did, and Mr. Martin deferred, simply by stating, he doesn't even have an application submitted to him yet. DOJ and FCC are the only entities which can approve this merger. Yes, politics will certainly play a role. However, I feel, that since Mr. Martin was demeaned, belittled, and looked like a "Cub Scout" who failed his "Boy Scout's" exam, I'd say he's pissed!
He mad it clear, that he just doesn't give "green lights", which conversly, means he can give a "green light".
They grilled him hard on the ATT/Bell South Merger...So What?
Again, I feel, he will show Congress who is in the driver's seat with respect to issuing that "green light"
I think DOJ will give the go ahead, and FCC will follow suit.
