Now it's Phil Simms' turn.
It's a travesty that Warren Moon is in the HOF and yet two-time Superbowl winner and Superbowl MVP Phil Simms is not.

1. Jeff Hostetler won that second super bowl. Simms had a broken foot. Being in the superbowl does not make you an immediate hall of famer.

Correct on both counts. Moon deserves to be in the Hall with stats like that (even though he never won a Superbowl), but I'd take Simms in any pressure situation with the game on the line. He was the leader of a team that won 2 Superbowls. His performance in the Superbowl in '86 will never be matched. Simms Deserves to be in Canton.
He'll get there eventually. I just wanted to point out that discrediting someone with better stats doesn't make a case for him.
My bad schim, simms was hurt against the bills? man i've got a shitty memory. Moon is without a doubt a hall of famer. The real tough questions are ones like, who would you rather have on your team, Marino or Aikman? I'd choose Marino, but alot of people keep an eye on the super bowls not 'talent'.
Did you guys know that the hall of fame game had similar tv ratings as the nba finals? Its become an absolute football nation.
