XM Satellite Radio and NissanNissan has tapped XM Satellite Radio as its factory-installed satellite radio solution for Infiniti and Nissan vehicles beginning with the 2008 model year. More than five hundred thousand Nissan and Infiniti vehicles with factory-installed XM Satellite Radio are projected to be produced for the 2008 model year with more than one million projected annually by the 2010 model year.

Back in January Nissan and XM signed a long-term satellite-delivered data and telematics services (in-vehicle messaging and XM NavTraffic) and now Nissan and XM are expanding this relationship.

Purchased a 07 Armada with the built in XM Radio. The radio is suppose to display, I think 16 characters. However, most of the time it only displays 8 characters. I finally ask a tech on Fixya.com about this problem. He said that the Nissan techs were aware of this problem, but haven't been able to fix it. He said when turning the vehicle off, switch the button to CD. When you turn the vehicle back on and go to XM, all the characters appear. Another tech said they changed the display init 5 times before they go the problem fixed. I find it amazing that this problem apparently can't be fixed. I really didn't buy this car to push the CD button everytime I shut it down.
