Oprah & Friends Channel Debuts September 25
A page up on Oprah's website gives us a the first hard date (that I've seen at least) of Oprah's debut on XM Satellite Radio - September 25 - on XM ch 156 (already in "preview mode").
The site also encourages readers to submit their questions to Oprah's best friends with the possibility of having it featured on the air:
- Gayle King: TV personality, Editor-at-Large for O, The Oprah Magazine and O at Home (and Oprah's closest friend)
- Dr. Robin Smith: Licensed psychologist, author and a regular contributor to The Oprah Winfrey Show
- Dr. Mehmet Oz: Noted heart surgeon, co-author of the best-selling book YOU: The Owner's Manual and a regular contributor to The Oprah Winfrey Show
- Bob Greene: Exercise physiologist and certified personal trainer, best-selling author and a regular contributor to The Oprah Winfrey Show
- Nate Berkus: Featured design expert for The Oprah Winfrey Show and a regular contributor to O at Home
- Marianne Williamson: Best-selling author and lecturer on personal and spiritual issues
I'm curious to see exactly how much influence Oprah has in the days up to, and following, the launch of her new channel. With 49 million viewers every week, how many will convert? Time will only tell.
Thanks cb!

I really get this deal. Her 49 million viewers live and love for these people that will have shows on XM 156. As long as Oprah throws in the "You can hear Dr. Oz and ask your own questions daily on XM 156" the fat house wives should want to listen. Also when they look for gifts for their man picking the Sat Service Oprah whores could be a good plus. Whore it up O!

I just hope Oprah stops climbing up the Emprie State Building & swatting planes down long enough to put together a good show.

Is that 49 million different viewers?
Even if it is the same people everyday multiplied by 5 that is still a good pull.
Not a bad listener/viewership of a bunch of people that can't think for themselves (well not all of them but enough).
Gotta love her programs about tossing salad, etc.
