Orbitcast Photoshop Madness
So it's pretty certain now that the "photo" from this weekend's XM Video news is most definitely a Photoshop job (though, I'll stress again, that the information on the Video Device is in fact real). Just observe from below.
Exhibit A. The upcoming Samsung Nexus XMP3 player.

Exhibit B. Someone's weekend Photoshop project for an XM Video device:

Exhibit C. Another "photo" from an "anonymous" source showing exactly how easily it's done...

So let's have a little fun with this shall we?
Announcing the Orbitcast Photoshop Madness contest.
Submit your own Photoshops of what you think the XM Video device would look like. And with any contest, you need to have prizes. So we'll pick 8 lucky winners who will each receive their very own Speck Products Skin-Tight Skins for the Sirius S50 or MyFi that I just happen to have left over from the review I wrote a lil' while back. I have 4 MyFi skins (2 clear, 1 blue, 1 pink) and 4 S50 skins (2 black, 1 grey, 1 blue) that I'll give away in a first come / first serve basis.
What's the rules? Take an existing photo of a satellite radio receiver (no iPods or fake Origamis please) and stretch it, clone it, cut it and paste it to make it look like a plausible video player. Sound good? Deadline to submit is by Friday, March 10th.
