Orbitcast Radio: Sex Tapes, Arbitron and the FCC (this Friday at 8pm ET)

There's a lot of ground to cover since the last Orbitcast Radio episode.
In this installment, we'll talk about a ton of topics including shock-jock sex tape scandals (or lack thereof), the Arbitron satellite radio ratings (or lack thereof) and the FCC's decision on the Sirius-XM merger (or lack th... ok, you get it). Don't worry, that's not all that we're going to talk about, there might even be a surprise or two.
Tune in this Friday at 8pm ET/5pm PT - just click here. And if you can't listen in live, you can always subscribe to the podcast and listen at your leisure (though you'll miss out on the chat room and the live video stream).

Here's something to talk about tonight. Over 200 US Congressmen have signed on to the Local Radio Freedom Act whereby 'terrestrial' radio stations will never have to pay a royalty for playing a performers music. Are these the same SOB's who are pushing for satrad to pay for each and every song and also are against the merger? That's their idea of a level ball field.

Here’s some stuff to talk about: Arbitron has been a respected name in the rating game for nearly 50 years. Satellite radio doesn’t subscribe to Arbitron because they didn’t like the TRUE numbers the service was generating. XM would rather hire an unknown Internet company “Online Testing Exchange” (OTX) as a ratings mouthpiece OTX has only been in business for 3 years their website looks like a front for a PR firm (how do I look up ratings)? http://home.otxresearch.com/
You can also bring up the fact that Arbitron just overestimated the average O&GAY fan. An X and an M is a lot to expect from someone who can barely manage an O much less an A! Or you can explain why O&A”s Testicle radio ratings dropped and still SUCK even after the misdirected Satellite diary entries?
Or you can tell everyone OTX IS A JOKE!!! http://www.surveyexchange.com/howItWorks.htm You only need a fake free email address to register for the email surveys "Take a survey: get points and entry into sweepstakes, Redeem your points for great prizes" weeee! I can almost hear circus music. Online Testicle Exchange has less credibility than Arbitron period! XM fears the PPM and refuses to encode for it what do they FEAR? Why do they try to use a nobody like OTX to grasp at straws?

I just listened to the iTunes podcast of last Friday's show...did it really end on a technical glitch?
