We've all seen the Radio Shack Red Chair commercials (if you haven't go here), and now Radio Shack is kicking off the Holiday Season blitz with a Red Chair promotional tour. Five-weeks, 48 malls, and a ton of shoppers all sitting in their very own Red Chair making a video that they get to send to their friends.
The whole point is to get people to ask for that special gift from Radio Shack. Shoppers can select from one of several products to show in their taped message including... wait for it... Sirius Satellite Radio! (You knew there was a satrad thing somewhere in this post.)
Participants are then given an access code to view their holiday wish on RadioShack.com. A very creative promotion IMO.
