Rumor: Sirius & XM to report earnings on Monday?
I don't know if I buy this one, but Forbes is reporting that Sirius and XM may both report earnings as early as Monday, according to a UBS report. This would be unprecedented, and most likely will send the merger speculation soaring if it is in fact the case.
Either way, only time will tell. Check out the video here.
Thanks Steven!

I spoke with Jaymie Van Valkenburgh SIRI IR, last Thursday and was told they would announce an earnings date and CC, 5 days prior to actual date of release. She said, they were not going to announce a date as of the 9th, so don't expect to see earnings the week of 12th-16th
This could be a ploy to throw us off the merger trail. Who knows, it has been quiet on both sides though.

Oh it's a merger. You can count on it. No other reason for them to report anything together. No reason for Forbes to speculate on it without something definete going on.

Anyone live near Teterboro, NJ? or Westchester, NY?....Signature Aviation might have a "bird" over there with the letters "X-Ray", "Mike", etc.,etc.
because....Mel ain't goin to D.C.
Follow me?
Other options are Avatat Aviation. (If the "bird is in the NY area, it could be in a hanger to prevent exposure)
And if it IS IN NY...Probably came up to bring some execs to catch dinner and a show.
I hear the shows in the "Big Apple", have a better venue than D.C.....Sorry for the double entendre. (Got the picture?)

SIRI wants to report last so they can "explain" why, even with Howard Stern, they are more than losing twice what XM does in their operations.
XM wants to report last so they get the point across that they had a great Q4 (because they added subscribers cost effectively), without SIRI sucking up all the oxygen with its usual bullcrap.

XM is for faggots ..plain and simple...fucking homos.

XMScott, you are a dolt. Was that threat? Better not merge XM! XMScott will throw his radios away! OH NO! Kill yourself.

There is not now, nor never will be a merger. Me and the fellows at 411 have ruled this out for the last two years.
XM is fine without it. Senseless dribble. Won't save a dime. Never approved. Impossible. Improbable. Parson's won't have it. It's all made up. The FCC. The FTC. The FAA. The RIAA. The AFLCIO. The FBI ............

LOL numbers were already out on year end subs..there is nothing more they can really say...and their sub cost will not be something suprising given 4q cost

The minute they merge is the minute I cancel both my subcriptions

I was thinking about merging with XM but now that I know XMScott and Coward would drop their subscriptions I've decided against it.
Hey piss-ants. We don't care if you check out from Mother Earth let alone a radio subscription. If you're too dumb to understand the value and programming this could create, the gene pool is better off without you.

Interesting comment for a guy who calls himself John Cock. If XM is for "faggots", why does Sirius have OutQ?

If anything Sirius is for faggots.. plain and simple... fucking homos.

The only plus is for sports fans who want MLB and NFL on the same service. Besides that it blows. They will cut duplicate music channels which having a merged XM and Sirius will create either just XM's music programming or just Sirius's music programming. There are people who hate either XM's or Sirius's music programming and it's a guarantee a good amount of people will be very unhappy with the newly merged company’s music programming. The problem is if it sucks now people are stuck with it. The lack of competition there would be in satellite radio will only hurt the consumer. Also there would be a guaranteed price jack. I'll stick with it as long as the XM music channels I listen too aren't scraped. But if they are I will cancel.

Yeah its a threat. I will not pay to support Stern, i will not pay to support Mel, i will not pay to support Greenstein. I did all three when they ruled commercial radio and have moved on to greener pastures. Fuck Sirius right in their OutQ. You Siriots think your sitting pretty with your shallow playlists , spotty reception, and mastertape theater. YOUR NOT

There is a difference between your and you're.
Learn it, live it, love it.

As more and more talks begin to swirl about this merger, I have to wonder if most consumers understand the powerful ramifications to all subscribers of either XM or Sirius. Prices will rise. We will receive fewer options. Subscription fees will increase. A monopoly will exist! Please take a second to look at my Coalition's (The Consumer Coalition for Competition in Satellite Radio) website (www.c3sr.org) and take an active part to stop this outrageous merger by becoming a member. We are an organization full of subscribers/consumers just like you who understand the devastating effects to our freedom of choice if this merger happens.

The real problem that XM and Sirius have is not solved by a merger. Both companies are trying to draw people away from FREE. How long does it take subscribers to figure out what else they can do with $150 per year?
