Satellite Radio to get taxed? In Virginia it will.

Inside Radio is reporting that both XM and SIRIUS will have to pay a 5% tax as Virginia lawmakers lump them in with cable, DBS TV and mobile phones.

Apparently this "communications and use tax" passed both houses 2-to-1 and Governor Tim Kaine leans toward signing the bill.
