Satellite Radio has 30 Million Listeners
At today's UBS Global Media & Communications Conference, Sirius' CFO David Frear stated that he estimates that satellite radio has approximately 30 million listeners to date.Sirius ended 3Q06 with 5,119,308 subscribers, while XM finished the third quarter with 7,185,873 net subscribers. Between the two, that's a total of 12,305,181 subscribers. So David is estimating that there are over 2.4 listeners for every paying subscribers.

So based on recent Sirius ads we can assume that XM has 20,000,000 listeners. Thats pretty good.
Of course this based on numbers from Sirius so who knows.
(here's the math to save you the time)
CFO says satellite has 30 million. Current Sirius ad says 10 million. Leaving 20 million for XM.

That math doesnt apply to some XM listeners. Have you seen pictures of the "pests". Fat guys with bad hygiene and pimply backs have very little, if no friends.
