According to a study by Deloitte, in 2006: search will displace email as the most used digital application, girls will hit the video games, and subscription radio will soar.

Using the interesting moniker "Subscription Radio 2.0" - Deloitte predicts radio will follow television as its business model evolves from being advertising-dominated to subscription-dominated. New delivery mechanisms, such as internet-based services, will be launched. That sounds pretty darn cool to be.

Unfortunately, someone got their nominclature a bit mixed up with thier press release. It states, "There are currently over 12 million US satellite radio subscribers; this market is expected to grow 35% through the end of the decade." I think they meant to say "listeners" instead of "subscribers" but oh well.
