SIRIUS Satellite Radio just announced they added more than 359,000 new net subscribers during the third quarter of 2005. The latest estimates that I was seeing was putting the number around 325,000 subscribers - this definitely exceeds that! Congrats guys!

The third quarter net subscriber gain represents a 97% increase in net subscribers over year-ago quarter net additions of approximately 182,000.

SIRIUS ended the quarter with over 2.17 million subscribers.
