Wow pretty awesome...Now lets get ESPN, FOX SPORTS, SPEED Channel etc.

It is easy to envision huge SACs and huge churn on these devices.

Why huge churn? Please explain. Like Sirius counting the two trials (radio and video) as subs, and then both of them churning?

Another farce...Hey..this stock has gone from 9 to 2.75 ....... now that's 'backseat"!

Sirius has 1.5 billion share out at 2.75 and xm has 316k out at 11.50 now do the math and tell me that sirius stock is backseat. They just have more stocks in mix you jackass.

Pretty cool system

Thought it be more expensive. Dont see real sales coming until more channels...but i could be wrong. Good to see some progress.

"Sirius has 1.5 billion share out at 2.75 and xm has 316k out at 11.50 now do the math and tell me that sirius stock is backseat. They just have more stocks in mix you jackass."

Exactly where did the share numbers come from? According to the merger plan, XM has 309,689,999 issued common shares to 1,458,248,306 for Sirius. That's a tiny bit different than your claimes 316,000 XM shares, dontcha think?

This also raises the question, why did Sirius feel the need to dilute their stock so much? Their outstanding shares, at the pricing you posted, has a difference of $500 million in Sirius' favor. (I'll leave the "Howard's Salary" posts to others.)

Just some food for thought.

I wish they could just show ESPN on Saturdays. It would be great for tailgating in the fall!

Market Cap which is share price multiplied by the number of shares outstanding for both companies is as follows:

SIRIUS = 4.02B
XM = 3.52B

As for the dilution it came well before Howard in March of 2002 when SIRIUS went down to $0.49. I only wish I would of bought more at that price, as I am still seeing gains at todays price.

Stack: "It is easy to envision huge SACs and huge churn on these devices."

Of course!!! LOL!!

I noticed this item was sold out online in Best Buy. Has anyone tried this out yet?
