Sirius covers the Pope's U.S. visit

Sirius will be offering unprecedented access the the first pastoral visit of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to the United States from April 15th through April 20th.
The Catholic Channel (ch 159) will cover the first visit to the U.S. by a Pope since 1999 (it's also the first time the Pope has been to Washington since 1979). The channel will provide hourly updates with the latest news and information on the Pope's activities during his visit, live coverage of all the major events, and more.
Sirius will also dedicate multiple channels to the Pope's visit, to provide listeners with simultaneous access to Papal events, commentary, and rare archival recordings of Masses and speeches from historic Papal visits - which will include, among others, Pope John Paul II's 1995 address to the United Nations General Assembly.

He has that look like he knows how fake religion is, and he doesn't care because it's *his* religion now.
All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

Included in their coverage will be the attempt to answer the age old question of "does the pope shit in the woods?"

Ryan, Can we do something about these anti-pope remarks? As a staunch Irish-Catholic I resent them. I love the Pope and all the Popes before him. God Bless...

Why bash the pope? I do not bash you because you disagree with his views. That shows how myopic people can be. I do not bash Muslims or Jews because they differ in religious views from my own. You can choose not to believe or even to dislike religion but do not bash a faith and a man who is attempting to do right by his set of beliefs. There is much to learn from Catholicism aside from the religious teaching - like donating time and money to help those in a lesser situation that yours and to work hard for peace and justice. It is a shame to see people make those comments - regardless of your personal views. Some of the comments sound perverted and plain disgusting.
I would say show some intelligence and make a cogent argument against the Pope and Catholics in general but this is not the place or forum to do so. The post was meant as an informative post to let those who may not know Situs covers events like this. Unfortunately, this post was hijacked by myopic anti-religious jerks who have nothing better to do that trash something that scares them or they disagree with. Sick, just sick - and uncalled for.
