Sirius Satellite Radio is celebrating Mothers Day with a special weekend broadcast event: Radio Mom. Starting on Friday, May 11th and running throughout the weekend, Sirius is transforming channel 119 into the only radio channel dedicated to moms, moms-to-be, and inspirational mother-like figures for Mothers Day.

Radio Mom will broadcast reflections, memories and special shout-outs dedicated to mothers of all kinds from Deepak Chopra, Richard Simmons, Jane Pratt, Jim Breuer, and other celebrity callers and listeners. You'll also hear favorite songs celebrating these special women during the holiday weekend.

Martha Stewart will also be sharing personal memories about her mother, Martha (affectionately known as "Big Martha"), as well as reading "The Lanyard," by Billy Collins, a poem she cherishes. This special segment will also air on Martha’s channel, Martha Stewart Living Radio (ch 112).
