Mel,
Let me do this one for you ? .....
Ladies and Gentlemen ...Video in 2004 and it's going to be BIG ! I expect to announce Video partners any day now.
I am not disappointed in the Honda and Toyota announcement.
I'm glad XM has rats. I have no idea why they want to sell their sat or copy our flight path. I think Gary's goatee is fake.
I'm going to kick Jim Cramer's ass for fucking with me.
Stiletto is great. Howard is great. It's all great.
Thank you,
AK

Has there ever been a time that Sirius has announced before XM. I love how Sirius always waits so they can spin their news to sound better.

You forgot some:
We will continue to count cars sitting in lots as subs. Hey, they're paid for! (cough)
We flat out lied to the FCC about our older units being FCC compliant and deliberatly waited until the new units came out so we can sneak in the new approved models before anyone noticed and let XM take the heat. (cough)
We waited until the very last second to chicken-shit a deal with the RIAA on our S50. Oh did we forget to mention we had to pay a royalty for each one sold and discontinue it? Oh, did we forget to tell you that the Stiletto had a similar feature taken away? Oops.
We will continually overpay for content, especially at a time when our CPGA is highest. We don't give a crap about our investors because they are dumb enough to keep this company afloat by believing the hype and buying our stock!
Mel: Our advertising revenue will have no hope of being as big as I thought it would be.
And my personal favorite: We will continue to "self insure" our satellites! (cough)
There, that about covers it Pockpie

BMB
SIRI used to report regularly before XMSR, however, XMSR used that opportunity to spend much of the call taking pot shots at, and undermining SIRI's report. That ended when Mel Karmazin took the reins for SIRI, who now waits for XMSR to announce first. If XMSR mgmt cared as much about shareholder value as they do about "one-upping" SIRI and being pompous pricks, we wouldn't be in this fine mess to begin with.

Thanks Joe,
I have been a share holder for around 4 years and I thought I remember a time when Sirius came out first, just couldn't remember when. By the way it sounds like Sirius is doing the same thing now on the "one-upping". I listen to both CC's, since I have interests in both.
