SIRIUS Canada has a tease on their homepage for an upcoming feature called the SIRIUS Soundboard. The describe the SIRIUS Soundboard as a place "where you’ll be able to rant, rave, whatever – tell us what you really think!"This is an interesting approach of what seems to be the fostering of an online community in an overall effort to help improve the service based on consumer feedback. I'm not sure if this is exclusive to SIRIUS Canada or not, but it would be great to see it's U.S. counterpart do the same.

What a great idea and why I love Sirius. IF this was for/in the USA I would note that Sirius 1 is all fucked up with yapping who gives a fuck DJ's. If I wanted htis shit, I'd listen to terrad.
STFU I'm thinking. XM's music kicks Sirius's ass.
I hope they do this for the US version. Check out this tech support email I got from Sirius over a Mac related question I had...

Are they for real??? Anyone who owns a Mac, knows how idiotic this is, as IE has been a dead browser on the Mac for years (thankfully, as it's a piece of shit).
It's pretty clear Sirius could give a damn about Mac users and if it wasn't for Stern, I'd dump them.
That's a very old canned response from Sirius, probably from back when they first started offering Streaming. Note that it mentions Netscape. The Netscape browser was a staple (along with IE) on the Mac until Safari came out.
As it goes, I have no problems with Sirius Online Streaming on a MacbookPro using 10.4 and Safari with the Flip4Mac WMV Plugin.
I have also tested the Premium streams and they work fine as well.
This information is accurate from 5 minutes ago.

Sirius US has already started a similar function. I was invited via email to participate in surveys from Sirius on its service. I've already completed one on favorite music stations.
Wow, Canadians love this sound off type stuff. I remember when Fuse was MuchMusic in the states, it was Canadian and you'd see 2 videos then another "speaker's corner" where people could "shot out"...
Hello all,
I work in Marketing at SIRIUS Canada. I wanted to thank all of you have joined our online panel and to clarify its purpose. Quite simply, we created the panel to make sure that we understand the needs and wants of our customers. The panel is meant to be a forum where our customers can provide their feedback and thoughts directly to SIRIUS Canada where we can act upon them.
The panel will attempt to capture your feedback and suggestions in two main ways. The first will be through research studies that are specific to a given topic. The second is through discussion forums where we can capture your ad hoc suggestions.
We appreciate your feedback and are committed to making SIRIUS the best it can be for our Canadian customers. In addition to the inherent satisfaction you receive by helping to guide the company, we will be offering the opportunity to win lifetime subscriptions to our participating panelists as well as discounted merchandise selections once we get our online store fully up and running.
For those of you who have not joined, I encourage you to do so. Our first research study on Customer Satisfaction is planned for deployment in a week or two. Until then, a general discussion forum is now live with more forum topics to be posted. We are still employing the full capabilities of our panel, but it will evolve and improve as we go...
Thanks again for the passion you have for our product!

Unfortunately Sirius Canada has discontinued the only satelitte station I listened to. It was Channel 160 and was a Catholic station called EWTN. I am truly sad and disappointed especially since you didn't even ask anyone about this.
Mac user's rejoice. There is a new player in town for Mac OS X. You can find it at http://starplayr.com
Enjoy!
Works great!
