Does this mean that it can grab the signal from both service's satellites?
If not, do we know if/when those are coming?
I think people are just going to wait for the dual-mode radios. Just having a la carte means nothing if it can't get both signals.
You got to wonder if they only released the a la carte radio because those goobs at the FCC required it. Also, I wonder if this will be the only a la carte radio available before the dual band a la carte radios arrive. I wouldn't get an a al carte radio when dual band radios are just around the corner.
here comes the ala carte fees............
Package Change Fee: If you convert your Subscription to a different Package where the monthly fee is less than or equal to your current Package on the same Receiver, you will be charged a $5.00 fee.
A La Carte Channel Change Fee: If you have a Subscription Package which is "A La Carte," while there is no fee for the initial selection of channels, for each subsequent change, you will be charged a fee of $5.00.
Where are the ala-carte fees posted?
@Frank I just updated the post with links to the two packages.

Hope this helps.
I just called sirius about the lifetime, you have to buythe starmate 5 and it will cost you 150 dollars one time extra for the lifetime gold package hope this helps
lifetime? As SiriusXM is proving everyday, a "lifetime" for them will be the chance they make it till the end of the current year before closing down completely. Keep up the non-thinking, Melvin Alan "Mel" Karmazin's favorite type of customer is the blind and ignorant who think paying for MONOPOLY radio is a good idea.
To my understanding the al le Carte option is awful. I thought you would be able to pick the channels you want from either service but all it is, is picking 50 or 100 channels from either XM or Sirius (pending what company’s al le carte receiver you own) and select ones from the other service. The select ones are the ones available on the best of XM or Best of Sirius package. To me that sounds awful and pointless. Am I wrong or is it that bad?
I wasn't asking about the ala carte program costs, I was wondering where these "change" fees and stuff were shown.
lifetime ? depends on what life your talkin about . maybe the life time of a fruit fly but i wouldn t bet on anything too much longer.
hello. am wondering if 165 was going to be on sirius, and if xm31 the torch is going to be on either service? xm took off xm31 it was one of my favorite stations to listen to on xmonline and on direct tv. neithter service has a 24-7 christian rock channel any more. would love to see this come back.
