Clearly this single channel per artist thing has gotten out of hand. Turn back before its too late.

all dancing queen ... alll the time
LOL ROTFLMAO... WTF are you thinking Mel?
proof that "content is king" and this is crap
ENOUGH!!!! I can't stand all these single artist channels. I don't even listen to the Bruce Springsteen channel and he is one of the best artists in history.
I'm not the biggest Coldplay fan but.. at least they're not ABBA!
I fucking give up
Whine, bitch, moan.
How many of your losers listen to channel 3? How many care that it will be ABBA centered for 2! TWO! weeks.
If you can not live with out Sirius love for two weeks all of you have problems. Get a couple barry white cd's, pour yourself a bubble bath and relax.
I wish they would have more of these artist take overs it gives fans an opportunity to really here deep into the cataloge. They could be shorter (a weekend - week at the most) but I really think this is something satellite can provide that you arent going to get elsewhere. Artists are not opening up there recording vaults to Itunes or the radio...
Aww... come on guy's, i love ABBA. Those Swedes really know how to throw a party.
Let's just be thankful it's not taking over the Bridge, err, Sirius 12!
Chris ; You got it 100% correct. It sickin's me to think that people think they are the center of the universe
It's not that I can't live without Sirius Love. I don't even listen to it. The thing I have a problem with is that Sirius has a habit of continuing these single artist channels on and on and on and on. If they had a channel or two dedicated to artists that they would rotate maybe every 2-3 weeks, that would be ideal. It would be enough time to play all their material and then move on to the next band.
I couldn't care less personally what is on that channel. That's not the point.
The point is that this is a company that is on the verge of collapsing and ABBA is their answer? You've got to be kidding.

If you already are a fan, then there is a good chance that you already have gone pretty deep in the catalogue for that particular artist. if you are not a fan, then this channel wouldn't interest you to begin with.
also
i got an ipod if i wanted to hear a lot of one particular artist, i don't need satrad for that
Yay! I'm so gay for ABBA! An all ABBA channel is what I've longed for all my life! I hope Sirius will air an all Village People channel. That's the only thing that could possibly top this announcement. This news should make the stock climb well above the $2 mark for sure!
hmmmmmmmm
next a channel for a month with all Bread
then....... Cher
then...... then....... then.......... mamma mia........ did you say Abba??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shouldn't ABBA have taken over OutQ for the two weeks?
look... Abba should have taken over or been featured on the Disco station.. not get a dedicated channel...
This is not about ABBA... its more about the "Content is King" argument I have heard for years...
Rude and Rude!! I love the Dancing Queen!!
I'd take an ABBA channel any day over a Dave Mathews channel.
ipod kid?
Do you know what happens on some of these events. The ARTISTS themselves open their vaults.
The only other current way to get material that deep is through bootleg trading. Radio is not playing artist archive stuff, itunes is not selling it. So for those people that are not doing the underground trading this is a positive.
I do not care about this for ABBA but no hair off my back since sirius love is like number 70 on channels I listen too. But there are artists that I have been interested in and it has been a lot of fun hearing all sorts of new stuff.
I do agree the single artist channels like E street radio have way outworn there welcome but a short stint like this is exactly what I WANT from satellite radio.
gotta appease the queers

thats great and all, but can't these artists go on a specific channel that is dedicated to that style of music and have perhaps have a special for this, play some new stuff that may have come out of the "Vault" and pepper in some favorites. I can see a weekend at most, but i would think that after a good weekend, you are digging into their readily available catalog.
i don't know how much i would listen to of a 2 week programming of any artist that i like.
also, while itunes may not carry bootlegged material, its really not that hard to find bootlegged material on the internet. i have many live recordings that i have been able to find over the years.
and they got rid of Planet Jazz for this...I'm glad I no longer subscirbe...
Sirius is desperate for cheap content, slowing down the cash flow as they go under.
The future of radio is:
HD Digital Radio • IT'S TIME TO UPGRADE!
HD Digital Radio. It's here. It's local. It's free. DISCOVER IT!

If you don't like Fernando, I don't like you.
This ABBA crap just could be on Sirius out Q.
id rather have ABBA and a shit load of other channels then:
WBALLS-FM POP Radio with rules
WFAG-FM broadcasting in HD-2 (see HD1)
WSUX-FM Home of Brian and Christopher in the morning and the same 20 in a row
KRAP-FM playin your favorite fossil hits
KOLD-FM More comercials and less music
Im sure the HD revolution will make its mark.........in the toilet that is!
ABBA? this is crap radio, don't think Hugh "I have no clue" Panero would think this stupid when it comes to programming. Screw Sirius! this with all the other BS just might be the end of my subscriptions
I love Waterloo....
