Sirius Travel Link highlighted in Ford Flex ad campaign - Orbitcast
Sirius Travel Link ad for Ford FlexFord Motor Co. is giving the Sirius Travel Link service a premiere spotlight in a recent run of its Ford Flex online advertising campaign.

Discovered on weather.com, the entire focus of the interactive ads highlight Sirius Travel Link by allowing users to "control the weather" by selecting rain, wind or snow. The end-screen (see above) closes with the slogan "Sirius Travel Link - The closest you can get to controlling the weather."

The interesting thing isn't just the excellent targeting of the ad (highlighting Sirius Travel Link on Weather.com makes so much sense, it's almost a no-brainer), but that Ford incorporated it so deeply into the ads. Sirius Travel Link is literally the entire subject of the ad, which is part of Ford's massive multimedia campaign that focuses on "the emotion of driving" the Flex.

And it's further evidence of the importance of telematics upgrades like Sirius Travel Link and XM NavWeather/NavTraffic (not to mention satellite radio in general) to automakers. They're easy-to-grasp differentiators that might just help bridge the gap between consideration and model intention - but that's a topic for an entirely different post.

Hi!
everybody,
3 cheers to Mr. Naresh Coppisetti.
I am proud that he is my relative.

He is one of them who helped the Sirius unit in its present avatar.
BRAVO.
