Sirius XM Radio Inc. announced this morning that they will postpone filing their 10-K Annual Report, noting that management has been otherwise tied up with the recent refinancing transaction.
The company said they are currently preparing the Annual Report, and will file it no later than March 17th. The same timing will apply for Sirius XM's two subsidiaries, XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. and XM Satellite Radio Inc.
The earnings call has also been officially scheduled for March 17th at 8am ET. You can listen online via a webcast, or tune in via satellite on Sirius channel 126 or XM channel 90.

Like ive been saying, they must be working on something as theres silence for past couple of weeks--possibility of opting out of Liberty deal by april 15th deadline??
@gary: I doubt it. The only "good" news lately is that they got bailed out at the last second by a loan shark. And most likely, the pathetic mess they made out of the programming along with the lousy economy brought subscriber growth to a halt.
My guess is that they want to wait for the March 11 price increase, aggressively offer deals to keep pissed-off customers from canceling, then Mel can say "We raised prices, and almost nobody canceled! Now we'll be cash-flow positive early next year! I'm TOTALLY for real this time, I'm not just saying that! Sure, I might have lied about everything else and ran this company into the ground, but you can trust me now!"
I would love to cancel Sirius, but honestly, as long as the company is
giving their product away at a cost substantially below what is advertised,
I will keep it for Opie and Anthony.
Sirius knows people are unhappy. That's why they offer unhappy subscribers subscriptions at many dollars less than advertised. They know it's the only way to withstand a huge subscriber drop which would not fare well for their company.
Is Howard Sterns Mega contract the problem with Sirius' stocks?
I cannot believe you guys can be so negative. Sirius XM is an awesome product for less than $20 a month you can't go wrong.
Are we listening to the same service?
I am sitting here trying to listen to music on "20 on 20"
Instead, I am being subjected to a morning show of college
interns talking about what is on women's minds.
What the hell is a morning show doing on a music channel?
This is just part of the problem that plagues this service that is
trying so hard to replicate all the things that make FM radio so bad.
NJRonbo, quit thinking your opinion matters so much around here. The greater majority of subscribers still love the service, even with the recent changes.
Do us all a favor, cancel your service, and get lost. Sirius XM doesn't need a crybaby like you.
NJRonbo'
Hey man - why are you so negative all the time? I am so sick of you whiners and malcontents! I mean, this product is awesome, man, and for less than $20 a month you get a whole bunch of great stuff. For instance; you get fewer of the select favorite channels that you used to put in your pre-sets because you loved them so much. That way, you can access the few remaining ones you like much faster. Who has time to waste these days?! Also, you get to hear some of the best songs, the popular ones, played several times a day. They do this to make you happy, cause they don't want you to cancel. Plus which, they have really rad, way cool DJ's that are a laugh riot! Their banter is SO entertaining, and I love it when 5 or 6 of them start yacking it up at the same time - like on The View. I get so tired of listening to several songs without some morning zoo intervention. I get anxious if I don't hear a human voice several times each hour! My God, those Morning Mashers are hilarious!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say what most of the "positive" subscribers usually say to miserable haters like you; uh.... um.... hey NJRonbo... why don't you cancel if you don't like satellite radio? Um.... uh... Oh yeah, you are an asshole! Fuck you. I don't have anything against you personally - I just felt compelled to say these things because those of us that are positive.... well, that's just what we do.
I think I made my case for why satellite radio is the bomb. I gotta run, man; The Pulse DJ is saying something LOL funny, and I don't want to miss it! Thank god they aren't playing that intrusive music right now, cause I need a good laugh. If you only knew what you are missing! That's all I can say to you, Mr. Negative.
Steve O, very funny!
Listen guys, I am here to stay. So are the rest of the whiners.
You know why?
Sirius is well aware of the growing resentment towards their
music programming. They don't care about what their subscribers
think. That's a fact.
For that reason, our only outlet to continue voicing opinions they
don't want to here are venues such as this one.
As long as Sirius keeps offering subscriptions and additional radios
at better prices than what they advertise (they just wont let people
quit without giving away their service) then I am staying!
Not only does my opinion matter around here, but so does the opinion
of everyone else that is fed up with SiriusFM. These are the opinions
that Sirius denies are even being expressed. Thankfully we have enough
negative opinions across forums like these to prove them wrong.
correction:
"For that reason, our only outlet to continue voicing opinions they
don't want to HEAR are venues such as this one."
Listen, this is a forum to debate issues, positive an negative.
I am very happy to all of you that love Sirius radio.
However, those of us that came from XM and have seen the huge
difference in how this service has diminished the value of satellite
radio to that of FM programming is really disheartening.
You are aware that there are talk shows on the music channels,
aren't you? These are Morning Zoos run by untalented college kids
that yuk it up at each other's humor. This is the kind of shit you find
on FM radio. Why is satellite radio putting talk on stations many of us
tune to to listen to music?
Why are DJs talking all over songs on the decades channel, often making
their own "shtick" more important than selecting good music which is
repeated over and over again throughout the day and week?
Why do subscribers who complain to Sirius treated like second class
citizens being told that nobody is complaining about these things when
I know for a fact that Jon Zellner has received a lot of negative email
about Sirius programming and has talked to a few loyal listeners over the
phone that have told him that Sirius programming has gone down the shitter?
I think there are some things that some subscribers just don't see, and
by all means, that's fine. Perhaps your favorite stations aren't being dumbed down to FM mentality. However, do some reading on this site and others. People are unhappy and have been so for a long time. Sirius has not done a single thing to address those unhappy people. They continue to rely on consultants and bad management who feel that satellite radio needs to run exactly like FM radio in order to succeed.
Annual Report?
Subscriptions are at a all time low.
The CH CH CH CHURN away from siriusxm is mind blowing.
Autosales are in the dumper and what's being sold has HD Radio requested.
The newbs and suckers might think the directv bailout solved all the issues HA that debt was only the very tip of the iceburg.
NJRonbo,
Glad you liked it. Just want you to know I've got your back, my man! The absurdity of it all is that all you really have to do is recount the reality of what is going on, and chances are it will sound either funny, or very sad. You and I, along with countless other subscribers know all too well just how unfunny this ongoing soap opera actually is. It amazes me that so many subscribers DON'T complain about the demolition of the programming. They are so damn nonchalant that it is sickening to me. They don't understand a basic fact of life; if you don't stand up for what you believe, this world will eat you alive. We are not only paying for a product, but also for a service. Before, when we ordered steak, they served us steak. Now when we order steak, they are serving us hamburger. It's not what we ordered. If we don't complain to the server (Mel & Co.), soon they will be serving us a hot steaming plate of Alpo!
All I can say is thank god for all the whiners. The ONLY way this company will ever placate the subscribers is if we dissent, en-masse, often and with a vengeance. If we give them an inch, they will not only take a mile, buy they will try to fuck us. These are not the most ethical people we are dealing with here - just look at all the broken promises and the disdain for the subs. Complain? We should all be rioting in the streets after the way they have treated us. Come on, all you pathetic, near comatose subscribers who think everything is so wonderful - join the rest of us in demanding that management hold up their end of the bargain. We aren't asking for anything that extraordinary, we are only asking that they listen to us and that they serve us what we "ordered."
I abandoned terrestrial radio because it sucked, and it was an insult to my intelligence (however limited it may be). I only ask two things of you, Mr. Karmazin - DO NOT offer me radio that sucks, and DO NOT insult my inteligence. Go to a blackboard, old school style, and write that down 1000 times, because I just know you're gonna forget it. When it comes to remembering the subscribers, you always seem to get a bout of amnesia.
NJRonbo - I'm glad you are sticking around! Keep on keeping on !!
Alright, NJRonbo.....your so sure you know exactly how radio should be done...put up..or shut up..Why don't you list how 2 hours of programming should look on let's say 20 on 20 or a decades channel ??? You bitch, and bitch..so put it up enlighten all of us mr programming wizard...then please also list all the amazing call letters on your resume in the biz.
How about 2 hours of uninterrupted music? Novel idea, huh?
I listen mostly to Outlaw Country Radio, and I selected a programming schedule that blocked programs with dirty language, and I am disappointed with some of the DJ's on Outlaw Country. The one I like least is MoJo Nixon, the Booger Eating Moron or whatever he is. He spits out some of the crudest junk that absolutely adds nothing to his show. His stupidity knows no bounds.
