American Le Mans Series
Sirius XM Radio Inc. is offering live coverage of every 2009 American Le Mans Series race - this year to both Sirius and XM subscribers - starting with the season's first event from Sebring International Speedway.

It all starts this Saturday, March 21st at the 57th Annual Twelve Hours of Sebring where listeners will hear both on-track action, plus pre-race and post-race coverage.

Coverage will run from 10am to 12-noon ET, and then again from 9pm ET to the finish of the famed race, all on Sirius channel 126 and XM channel 242.

The premier sports car series features cars from the most prestigious automobile manufacturers in the world, including Sirius XM partners like Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, Porsche, Chevrolet and Ferrari.

The American Le Mans Series races aired on XM Satellite Radio last season, but this year marks the first year the races will be available to both Sirius and XM subscribers.

HOLY SHIT - THANK GOD!!

yippie! How about some MLB.

Now their taking a left right left right oh wait number eighty is coming on to challenge #3 we'll be right back after a word from our sponsors.

Do a search for Letterman's top ten of why blacks aren't in racing and I think number 2 should have been #1.

Wow racing on the radio, I can't wait until lacross and a marathon are covered. Please let me know when those start on radio!!

That's great but the coverage is really buried on XM, no one will happen upon it up there.

Sure would be nice if the platform had a program where the series was discussed weekly and drivers were interviewed on a regular basis.

Oh wait! That was Power Shift and they canceled it.

Sirius XM, provide some programming that supports and promotes the other racing series (IRL, F1, now LeMans) that the platform now carries . Bring back Power Shift!

All NASCAR talk just doesn't deliver!

This is awesome! I hope that means that IRL on my Sirius radio is not too far behind!

I can't wait for the day for all sports programming to be available to all subscribers with out the Best of package.

Will the preempt one of the few channels i still enjoy for this (The Verge). Probably.

Why am i still here?

I often say to myself that I would love to hear sports on the radio insteaad of watching sports on my HD TV

Sweet.. very pleased.
