Sirius XM Android App
Sirius XM Android App users rejoice! The satellite radio provider has just updated its app to include fixes for Android OS 2.2 (Froyo), and it's available now for download.
Android Froyo 2.2 OS update caused a bug for the Sirius XM App, causing it to repeat pieces of the streamed audio. Sirius XM weren't immune to this update - a great many of audio apps suffered issues with the Froyo update.

Android 2.2 Froyo penetration

After being released, Android 2.2 was rapidly installed and as of recently now covers over 28.7% of all active Google phones. So it was imperative that Sirius XM Radio Inc. update the app to address this growing userbase.

You can download the updated Android app here.

Great! Now let's get it on the Android Market so it can be a featured app and draw some traffic to Sirius instead of just being a value-add for existing customers.

This app isn't that great. With a time out of 2 hours it makes it a pain to listen to talk shows like opie and anthony and ron and fez.

You can find opie and anthony on z-rock radio online or by using the FREE xiaa live android app.

I can also tell you where to find the RnF show streamed live.
