Presidential DebateSirius XM Radio is broadcasting today live from the campus of Hofstra University, the site of the final US Presidential debate.

The event will be headlined by a post-debate simulcast of political channels Sirius Patriot (ch 144) and Sirius Left (ch 146), where hosts Andrew Wilkow and Alex Bennett will preside over a post-debate 'town hall' discussion with Hofstra students.

The one-hour special will serve as an instant response forum for young voters to discuss the debate, the issues influencing young voters, and whether or not the candidates addressed those issues during the debate.

At 8pm ET, XM's POTUS '08 (ch 130) will kick-off its pre-debate coverage with hosts Joe Mathieu and Rebecca Roberts, featuring analysis from "The Playmakers," communication and competitive strategy experts Alan Kelly and Michael Cornfield. Glen Kessler from HCD Research will join the panel with instant polling results and analysis after the debate.

Earlier in the day beginning at 12pm ET, Sirius Indie Talk (ch 110) and XM's POTUS '08 will bring the latest news and updates from the Hofstra University campus. At 5pm ET Indie Talk's roundtable show "The Blog Bunker" will feature student bloggers from across the country.

Moderated by CBS News' Bob Schieffer, host of "Face the Nation," the Presidential debate will take place at Hofstra University at 9pm ET where John McCain and Barack Obama will face-off for 90-minutes. Unlike the other two debates, the candidates will sit at a table (pictured above) facing one another for the third and final time.

Twig 'n berries!Earlier this summer New York Yankees catcher Jose Molina and Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Chris Snyder both suffered groin injuries on the same night. Molina was hit in the groin with a fastball while Snyder caught a foul tip and fractured his left testicle (yeesh).

This week on the men's health show on Doctor Radio, hosts Dr. Samir Taneja and Dr. Andrew McCullough welcome Yankees Team Physician Dr. Stuart Hershon to discuss some of the latest nasty testicular sports injuries - including the cases of Molina and Snyder.

Groin injuries are common in baseball and so you have to ask the question: is that protective cup doing anything?  With balls flying (no pun intended) at 80mph, isn't there a better way to protect the twig and berries? McCullough and Herson will discuss as well as take calls from listeners.

Cross your legs and tune in to Doctor Radio (ch 114) tonight, July 16th at 6pm ET/3pm PT for this groan-inducing episode.

Dr. Andrew McCullough is an assistant professor at NYU Langone Medical Center, the director of NYU's Male Sexual Health and Fertility program, and was a principle investigator into the development of Viagra. Dr. Samir Taneja is the director of Urologic Oncology in the Department of Urology at NYU. Every week they explore a wide variety of general and sexual health issues affecting men of all ages.

Bubba the Love Sponge

Bubba the Love Sponge and executives at Sirius Satellite Radio appear to be having a disagreement about on-air material, and emotions have come to a head.

Yesterday, claims from Bubba that Sirius is censoring the show reached a heated moment when Tim Sabean, Program Director of the Howard Stern channels, called into the show. The on-air argument ended with Sabean hanging up on Bubba.

Listen to audio of the incident below:

Whether or not you're a fan of the Bubba the Love Sponge show, the issue of using the "corporate dump button" isn't a new one to satellite radio, and many listeners considered it to be completely unacceptable.

These channels bill themselves as being uncensored, and many times that includes the portrayal of opinions that may be unpopular with the company. Unless there's obvious issues with libel, defamation or other legal matters, there shouldn't be a reason to censor on-air material.

We still don't know the full story (especially behind the scenes), so look for more info on this as it develops.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Dolly PartonGrammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, author, actress and plastic surgery petri dish Dolly Parton issued a statement yesterday condemning a bit on Howard Stern where one of her audio books was manipulated to form racist and sexually graphic phrases.

This isn't the first time that "The Howard Stern Show" has altered recordings to string together sentences, but it's the first time - of recent memory - that someone has actually taken it seriously. The bit was aired on the Stern Show last week.

"I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life," Parton said in a statement on Wednesday. "I cannot believe what Howard Stern has done to me.

"In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth. They have done editing or some sort of trickery to make this horrible, horrible thing. Please accept my apology for them and certainly know I had nothing to do with this."

Parton concluded: "If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it's going to be over this. Just wanted you to know that I am completely devastated by this."

Jimmy CarterFormer President Jimmy Carter sat down for an interview on Sirius Satellite Radio to discuss his recent peace mission to the Middle East, among other topics, with Sirius host Alex Bennett.

Carter also talked about the current democratic presidential primary and his new book A Remarkable Mother about the life and legacy of his mother, Lillian Carter.

In addition, the former President discussed his controversial meeting with Hamas.

"We got what we wanted from Hamas. They agreed to a lot of very important things," said former President Jimmy Carter during the interview. "First of all they agreed to propose a cease fire just for Gaza, where as before they [Hamas] were demanding Gaza plus a West Bank. So they made that proposal, unfortunately Israel turned the proposal down, which could have stopped the rockets going into Sderot and could have brought peace."

President Carter's also added his thoughts on how he believes the Democratic presidential primaries will be resolved.

"I feel after June the 3rd, there will be a fairly clear identity of the winner," said Carter. "And then, in my opinion, the super delegates including me will go along the way the American democrats have."

You can hear Alex Bennett, a self-proclaimed radio gadfly, on "The Alex Bennett Program" weekdays from 9 - 12pm ET on Sirius Left (ch 146).
