Slacker gets groped, fondled and molested

Slacker
The boys over at Crave had the chance to fondle the new Slacker player and were kind enough to snap off a few shots of the molestation in progress.

While the Slacker device seems oddly large for just being a flash player, Crave has also learned that the boys over at Slacker are talking to other device manufacturers to make its service (both free and paid) available to all.

Now imagine that... opening up your service to all those willing to support it? Crazy talk I tell you.

Note to Delphi and all SAT radio makers:

Just copy the simplicity of the Slacker and the iPhone format. Large Color displays with album art and lots of info. No buttons - just touchscreen controls and great software ! You've got to compete with these puppies.

Get 'er done !

I agree with Mike.....while the Inno and Stilletto are very nice, I perfer a larger color display with album art. Small is nice but I would give up small for a larger display (like the Zune).

I love Delphi products and it's about time they come out with a new portable.

Anyone see this as a potential threat?

All they need is something to differentiate themselves from others. Its already a FREE service!

I don't see how the Slacker model can deliver FREE music for long. What advertiser is going to put video ads on a device no one needs to look at to enjoy?

Someone has to pay for commercial free music (to pay the royalties) - and the XM/Sirius model is the model for the future.

These other models will come and go.

I hate this thing. Smaller = better for me in a portable. Why the need for a giant screen in a portable? This looks like something you'd download books to, not a portable radio. Did Sirius design this thing?

I'll be grabbing one of these if this stupid fucking merger goes through.
