Sirius just announced at CES that it will be adding an instant replay feature to the Sportster - Sirius' number #1 selling transportable ?Plug & Play? radio.
The redesigned Sportster IR (for "Instant Replay" - go figure) will be capable of recording up to 44 minutes of programming simultaneously while a subscriber is listening to satellite radio, enabling the listener to pause the unit and return to where the programming left off.
The Sportster IR will be compatible with existing Sirius Sportster boom boxes, car and home kits.
The new unit is expected to ship to retail stores in the middle of this year. Pricing and a photo isn't available at this time. As soon as I get a pic, I'll update this entry.
