Spotted: SIRIUS on Entourage
Sirius got a quick plug on Entourage. Definitely shows that Sirius' reputation as a celebrity-centric radio service is taking hold. Check out the video below:

That bong got a bigger plug. But it is certainly a start for the little doggy company.

Really Anry Typing Guy. What does XM actually mean. X modulation.
What does the X mean?
Atleast Dog Star/Brightest star in the sky makes sense.

Was that it off to the right? Not very prominently displayed. I couldn't even tell what it was.

"Was that it off to the right?"
Turn up your sound, They said Sirius during the show.
"This keeps up your gonna have to get your own show on Sirius."
Good plug for them on a cable channel during a well known and highly watched program.

That was an odd mention. It seemed very forced and I don't think anyone understood what he's talking about.

Yeah, it did sound kinda forced but I didn't see any more of the show.
Anyone remember how Sirius paid for adverts in the Tony Hawk game a while back? There has been a lot of product placement in shows lately, especially on HBO. Wouldn't be suprised if the little doggy company paid for that one line. Yech.

Uhhhh... "Not AM, Not FM... XM."
It's the x-factor, the unknown element. Pretty simple really.

theicepik- I know what it meant. However it gets a little annoying to hear "that little doggie" company over and over. I was just pointing out how Sirius came up with the name since it is often looked down on. Hell some people can't even pronouce it properly.
and BTW I actually like what XM used to do with the Beyond FM marketing. It made sense but radio to the power of X just stinks.

Artie Lang from the Stern show will be on Entourage later this season.

Apologies PAT macrotch BATTLE... You can never tell when someone is being sarcastic or not. I do agree that the the "Radio to the Power of X" really stinks and Listen Large isn't any better.

Somehow I took it as a stab at Sirius giving stations to everyone. Similar to the Kevin Smith doing Aquaman 2 script - it wasn't a complement

"Turn up your sound, They said Sirius during the show."
Oh sorry, no sound here at work. I assumed that the headline of "spotted" meant you could "see" the Sirius product.

I thought this was just a normal name drop and it sort of is, BUT this kind of plays into what many XM fans have been joking about. If your names been on the news or if you were popular at one point then you could get a show/channel on Sirius.
A name drop with a slap in the face at the same time.....interesting.

Well, Artie Lange said that he will be doing a cameo spot soon.

Did Howie invent Artie Lange.....no. He's making an appearence for himself, and not Howard.

"Did Howie invent Artie Lange.....no. He's making an appearence for himself, and not Howard."
Are you really questioning where 90% of Artie's fame came from?
When you hear Artie Lange, do you imadiately think," oh the guy rom Mad TV" or "the Guy from the norm show"?!?!?!
Keep wishing, Howard has nothing to do with anything pal.

the xm name makes it easier for people to remember. they know AM, and FM, XM obviously has the same scheme. just like HD-DVD, people know DVD, they are getting HD-TV's now, so the naming scheme is more familiar.
