The mighty Tenacious D spent several hours at SIRIUS Satellite Radio's NYC headquarters yesterday.
You'll be able to hear them on November 20th-26th, when they'll provide the "DL" (daily music news) every hour on Alt Nation (ch 21). They'll also play tons of Dio, Sabbath, Nirvana, Ozzy and the soundtrack to their new flick, "The Pick of Destiny" (opening 11/22) when they guest DJ on Octane (ch 20), for a week of November 21st.

These guys were on Opie and Anthony... I think Tenacious D's time was a year or so ago.. A little late for the movie. I smell bomb... So it is fitting to be on Sirius then.

Without the accusations of being a fanboy, its become pretty predictable the type of personalities that Sirius is going for. The "extreme" and/or 18-25 yr old male market....that seems to be their target audience at this point. Im not predicting if its good or bad, however that seems to be their direction.
And anyone who doesnt think that Jack Black has already entered minute 15:01 of his fame should go back and watch the MTV Video awards from this year...painfully not funny.
It is not Fanbot when I critisize Sirius. I have both XM and Sirius, but I am almost always on XM... There is a reason.

It's not stock price that determines what a company is worth, it's market cap.
Companies that have 10 million shares at $10 (market cap: 100 million) are not worth as much as companies with 50 million shares at $5 (market cap: 250 million). Trying to judge two stocks solely on stock prices is meaningless.
Aside from that, I'm still trying to decide on seeing this movie or not. I'm hoping for something good though.
