So this is how XM sold out......and why good o'l AL did not fight for the boys to be fired....

The end of all comedy on XM is near, but now we will soon have a channel called racebaiting.

The Age of Irony is surely upon us. The boys haven't been avoiding race as a topic, so it doesn't appear that any deal has been made with Al about the content of their show. That's a relief. They better have Patrice Oneal on the show with them for the next few days just in case.

XM would have to hire Imus to make this any more ironic.

Nappy headed ho.

Look for Imus and Sharpton to do a show together. Al will be Imus's Black sidekick he's been looking for.

I guess this answers the question: "Where's Al?"
Posted by: Mudhead | July 27, 2007 1:34 PM
well then, there is some "Content" for ya... hope they did not pay for that.
any pestes remember "Blaxi cab"
"Revernd al's blaxicabs are not Croun Victoia's.. no no... they are Bradly armord fighting vehicles"
LOL... "And no shooting inside the vehicle due to ricochet"
"Reverand Al must be fed, Stop that car you towel head"
Credit needs to go to the Genius of anthony

Actually, this seems interesting.

Nice. When does Mike Nifong get his show?
Only in America can a man who's put innocent men in prison and directed "mob justice" to put others in the ground be given a platform to preach still more hatred, division and outright lies.

Ambrose I Lane Sr and Mark Thompson added 6 hours of intelligent conversation to The Power (channel 169 on XM). They were well informed and these two shows will be missed. Radio One made a poor choice by cancelling these programmings.

This guy is a douche. But if he brings in subscribers, then I guess it's a good deal.

Fans of the Power 169 XM Radio are protesting to reinstated Mark Thompson and Ambrose Lane to the Power. Both were popular radio personalities on satellite radio. On July 27, 2007, they were dismissed from the Power. Because of the protest, Lee Michaels, Program Director of XM169 was on the air (August 10, 2007) defending why Radio One fired Mark Thompson and Ambrose Lane from their radio lineup. After everything was said, the fans were not pleased with Lee Michaels reasons for firing them, and the protest continues even LOUDER. Their show discussed African-American issues along with political news from Washington, D.C. At this time, the shows have been replaced by Warren Valentine and “Two Live Stews” a sport show. Fans of the Power XM169 are outraged and demand that Mark Thompson and Ambrose Lane be reinstated immediately. Show your support with calls, faxes, and emails to Radio One.

Mr. Ballentine and Rev. Sharpton are morons. What a great way to punish businesses that do business with blacks than to withhold your money for the day.
What affect will the blackout have on the racists and lawbreakers? How will this contribute to solving the problem? It won't, nor was it ever designed to do this.
This is a political ploy of hopefulness from Rev. Sharpton (has he learned yet that the Bible condemns both dishonesty and deception?) to test the economic power and solidarity of the black voting block. How many black people will actually listen to this nonsense and participate. He is just taking a temperature for, I suspect, a future political campaign IF he has the support.
Wake up Black America. Sharpton will use you just like he has and will use the media to CREATE support for his own gains.
