The History of Howard Stern: Act 2
The acclaimed documentary, The History of Howard Stern, is returning on Monday, December 22nd with Act II.

The sequel to last year's award-winning series (which, in my opinion, was a phenomenally produced epic) picks up after Howard's firing at WNBC and takes an in-depth look at his run at K-Rock.

Celebrities who will be heard in Act II include Jon Bon Jovi, Alec Baldwin, William Shatner, Richard Simmons and many more.

If you missed Act I of The History of Howard Stern, you can hear encored presentations all day today (December 5th), December 12th and December 19th - all starting at 6am ET.

The History of Howard Stern: Act II begins on December 20th and will run until January 2nd, also starting at 6am ET, on Howard 100 and Howard 101. Check out the interactive timeline here.

I've been looking forward to this for a while.

Jackie looks like a woman in that picture.

Wasn't there a movie about this jerk's life already?

Why do we need more history about him? Has it changed from the last time we all heard it? Can this guy be any more into himself? He so isn't even relevant any longer....just do your radio show and shut up...your movie wasn't even that funny!

Although...it did make me laugh when he dropped those stack of records during his first gig as a DJ...that was a funny scene!

How about they throw us a bone and put this on for all subscribers then they can hook us in. Of course they won't do that.

They should offer those posters on the web...extra cash for the company?

The "History of Hartlieb" is next.

Check your local listings......

Fine you didn't like it. Move on. Sorry but that 2 hour movie doesn't cover everything that 8 or 10 radio shows is going to cover.

Does this guy sleepwalk through his show? Does he do any show prep? I think Stern's popularity will bewilder future generations as it does me. Back up North, my father used to refer to his type as "a low class #@#." Who cares about interviews with bimbo strippers? How many abusive and unfunny telephone pranks can he play? Who cares if the fat, junkie Artie Lang dies this year or next? What a waste of time! There are far funnier, more intelligent, better prepared jocks out there. Stern is getting by on his proctological/gynecological interview focus - nothing more.

Will this talk about how he set records for the Sirius stockholders

Translation....more vacation time.

Does anybody REALLY want to hear this dated bullsh..t? Subscribers pay to hear LIVE material 5 days a week... thats right.. LIVE.. Monday thru Friday, not re-runs of old terrestrial radio shows. The only "HISTORY OF HOWARD STERN" lay ahead in the future, and how well he does on SIRIUS. So far, the only thing he has "broken" is SIRIUS's budget.

How the mighty have fallen.....

Jackie Martling and Billy West, you are missed more than you can imagine.

I've been looking forward to this for a while. Part 1 was excellent. H100 & 101 has been re-running it lately as a lead up to the new one. Great stuff...

can't wait christmas comes early!

"He broke ground. He broke rules. He broke wind."

Clever.

"Who cares about interviews with bimbo strippers?"

Um....well....I DO!

"'He broke ground. He broke rules. He broke wind.'

Clever."

Clever?!
This isn't clever. It isn't wit. It is obvious and juvenile.

Perhaps it seems clever to some obese nine year old television junkie who would have difficulty filling in the blank of any simple English sentence.

This is along the lines of:

He took the radio business by storm. He took beautiful women. He took a shit.

"This isn't clever. It isn't wit. It is obvious and juvenile."

Sarcasm is so difficult to convey over the internet.

JonE,

They originally said that he was getting 10 weeks vacation a year. I'm not sure how much he has taken this year, but it has to be closer to 15 weeks at least! He works 4 days a week, so he's getting a vacation day every week that he isn't on vacation! At $100,000,000 per 3/4 of a year, all I can say is HOLY SHIT !!!

That $100,000 also pays his support staff.

Do you really think that sirius is cutting checks for the likes of richard, sal, etc?

Boring - he is making 500 million and the rest of the country is struggling. Life just isnt fair.

The Howard on Demand raised it's rates from 9.95 to 13.95

Mel and Howard should be placed on a melting slab of ice and shoved out to sea.

Still love the show. Tzark, no offense but you're the one that sounds like a 9 year old crying. Don't listen, no one cares.

Face it. He's an icon. There's no arguing it.

These specials that are produced for Howard 100 & Howard 101 are nothing short of spectacular.

If you're not interested, don't listen.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it.

He may work four days a week, but Monday-->Thursday There is a live show from 6:00 am until Noon. It is actually more than the terrestrial days by far. He takes the same vacation and holidays off he always did.. It is also like this, the dude could have said "eff it" and just retired... I like him being off on Friday's, I actually listen to some different things like music or politics.. Four days of Howard is better than none. QUIT BITCHING or Cancel... Some people are never happy.... History Of Howard Stern Part two will be great...

Oh, by the way..... O&A were dropped in Boston AND Cleveland this week.... Only NY left on CBS. Just sayin'.

$100,000 MILLION A YEAR= HOLY SHIT.....is right!!!!

SIRI XM now has 20 MILLION PAYING SUBS X $10 PER MONTH IS $200,000 MILLION A MONTH= DOUBLE HOLY SHIT~~~!~!!!!!~~!~!!!

THANKS HOWARD, well at least for the $100,000 MILLION A MONTH.

here is the deal, howie, you keep one month per year, and siri xm will keep the other 11 months.

The haters always come out...but the ratings speak louder than they do. Dont like? Dont listen. Problem solved.

i love how the hoo hoo zombies love to point out that the o&a show were dropped in boston and Cleveland when terrestrial radio is laying loads of people off yet they hold an audience as strong as howies show on sat radi0

viva revolution

ryan seacreast seems to be adding stations. i'm a fan of o&a, but face it, they didn't produce like howard did. what i like about their show is its like a mens club, they just don't have the mainstream appeal that howard does. you can say he's no longer relevant, but, people still know the name. o&a are underground. and there are plenty of people still syndicating alot, just not o&a. not a slam, just a fact.

You cared enough to take the time to respond.

Enough with Howard loving himself so much.
13 years ago he had weight now he's just a thing of the past. No one cares anymore somebody needs to tell him
