The Onion has gotten the scoop on a brand new lineup for Sirius Satellite Radio, and I gotta say that this is some killer programming. So without further adeau, here's the new channels:
- BBC's "Cricket Roundup" with Natasha Kaplinsky
- Channel that plays "I Have A Dream" speech on continuous 24-hour loop
- Guy Reads The Dow Ticker Like Eddie Murphy Channel
- Station dedicated to capturing first words of Sirius CEO Mel Karmazin's granddaughter
- "The Convincing You To Like Zappa Hour"
- Hour-long program titled "Would XM Satellite Radio Play This?"
- "Test Answers To Mr. Taylor's Sixth-Grade Biology Finals"
- Better oldies station
(Yes folks it's called satire.)

Satire? You had me there -- luckily, I was on hold so long with XM customer service to cancel I was able to read the satire disclaimer. Guess I'll keep XM....
If thats all that Sirius offerd it would still be better than what XM has!
After reading the comments on Gizmodo I figured I should spell out the satire point. :)
No "Answers to CGS 3406 Fall '06 Final at FSU channel"? :(
I could have used that today
"The Convincing You To Like Zappa Hour"
LOL. That's the best one! I have friends who worship Zappa and are always trying to convert the majority of the world. Either you "get" Zappa or you don't. They remind me of Satellite Radio fanatics (Yay Sirius!!!) and Apple fanboys (Go Mac!!!)
Howard used to play the Onion Radio News, I wish he'd start doing that again. That was always a hoot.
Remember when satire used to be funny?
What does a final at FSU look like?

And after Howard praised The Onion for all these years. He recently promoted The Onion for no good reason. They don't advertise or anything. Howie just likes it. I never really liked The Onion but wow.
You don't like The Onion? Are you retarded or a Republican? That may be redundant...
Remember that time that the Onion did a spoof article about a Sirius fan having an intelligent thought? Goddamn that one was hillarious.
Westfall
This is just another sign that Sirius has become the name that people think of when they think about Satellite Radio.
The Onion rules.
