On Friday, Sirius XM Radio will air an exclusive special entitled The Three Stooges: Lost and Found Interviews featuring a collection of rare interviews with Moe Howard and Larry Fine, as well as some of The Howard Stern Show's greatest Stooge-themed moments from Howard's personal radio archives.
Stern show listeners know that the Stooges have been a constant influence throughout Howard's career, inspiring conversations, comedy bits and constant references to their genius on his show.In May 2009 Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron (pictured, right) revealed to Howard Stern that as a teenager Bergeron had the chance to interview two of the original Three Stooges, Moe Howard and Larry Fine. Bergeron noted that he even recorded the conversations but didn't know the exact location of these precious tapes. Howard responded to Tom that if he could find these sacred recordings, he would create a special to showcase the interviews on his channels at Sirius XM Radio.
Tom Bergeron went home and found the tapes.
The Three Stooges: Lost and Found Interviews features Bergeron's extremely rare interviews he conducted in the '70s with Moe Howard and Larry Fine as well as the unique stories behind them. On the tapes, Moe and Larry discuss the history of the Stooges plus the Curly/Shemp/Curly-Joe/Joe "third Stooge" evolution. Larry reminisces about working with Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, in one memorable moment, Moe takes a swipe at legendary comedians Jerry Lewis and Bob Hope.
The interview with Larry Fine was done just months before his death in 1975.
In addition to the rare interviews, Bergeron also highlights some of The Howard Stern Show's greatest Stooge-themed moments from Howard's personal radio archive including a "Beaver Break" from 1982, the Stern Show gang playing "Three Stooges" trivia, Howard reflecting on watching the Stooges with his father Ben Stern as well as several legendary bits from the mid-90's featuring the Stern Show's master Larry Fine impressionist, Billy West.
The Three Stooges: Lost and Found Interviews, hosted by Emmy Award-winner Tom Bergeron and will air on Friday, July 31st at 2pm ET on Howard 101 (Sirius channel 101, XM channel 101).

Wow, you mean Howard found something to fill in his Best Of with on Fridays? Wow, that's genius programming there. Still having Friday's off at his salary....wish we could all be so lucky in this crappy economy.
Gimme a break. Let his contract lapse and let him go.
I will be sure to download this for free . I steal the show because the revolution turned out to be lazy and kinda gay .
wow, relevance if you were alive in 1940
Wow what a revolution! Interviews from 50 years ago should be timely and lively! Can't wait to not hear this one.....This will bring more subscribers!
Gay? You think Richard and Sal licking each others' ballsacks is gay? At least it's funnier than the endless phony phone calls. Hoo Hoo is SO irrelevent. Downloading is the only way to go. It's WAY too painful to listen to the whole show any more.
You steal the show because YOU are gay & faggot. Now go back & play with your phone , fag!
In celebration of this momentous program, I will be getting a Moe Howard haircut.
Gay and faggot would be paying and buying into the "Revolution " that is run by a 55 yr old man that is lazy now because all he wants to do is leave and go to cocktail parties in the hamptons and promote his trophy wife just like Don Imus did . Gay is a " Revolution " where all that is talked about are dancing and singing reality shows and gossip from page six and making friends with Rosie, Tyra Banks and so on . Gay is talking about how amaaaazing your trophy wife is while the yes men around you agree over and over . face it the " revolution " is weak and could not over throw the radio world . The king of old media has turned into an old woman .
All you people do is bash every single story that is posted up on Orbitcast. Why do you bother? If you don't like it, then don't listen and don't bother posting on here. Obiviously you must still be interested and still listen otherwise you wouldn't care enough to comment on here.
I wonder if this has anything to do with The 3 Stooges movie that is currently filming. I personally enjoy the stooges and would listen if I still had Best of. I have never heard any of their interviews. Of course, Tom Bergeron will screw it up, he is a douche.
I am super excited about this! The three stooges really helped shape comedy and comedic timing and hearing an interview this rare from them is outstanding. Thanks for bringing this to us Tom and Howard!
And what will Howard 100 air on this day? A replay talking about Robins big tits?
Who gives a shit
hoo hoo i invented irrelevent broadcasting
for Sirius fans
OK. I'm not much of a Howard fan (not since Jackie left) but I do listen on occasion just to see what that old codger is up to these days.
I will probably check this out because I've never actually heard an interview with The 3 Stooges. It might be kind of interesting.
My question is: If this is some incredible, unearthed rare interview - why is Tom Bergeron peddling it to Howard? If it was any good, I'm sure he could get it played somewhere that would reach more of an audience. It's probably terrible and Bergeron's had it in a box in his basement somewhere, and only went to look for it because Howard was interested in it.
My guess is that it is going to be hyped up by Howard (and Sirius) as some earth-shattering event brought to you by "The Almighty King of All Media" and it's not going to live up to expectations. I plan to be disappointed.

This website says O&A (who are live on Fridays) have 300,000 less listeners than Stern
http://www.mediaite.com/power-grid/category/?c=Radio+Hosts
But probably make 600+ million less dollars. GO SIRIUS!
Does anyone how long the special is going to be?
Wait
Is the Virus going to be on 101? It did say 3 stooges right?
Does anyone how long the special is going to be?
yes too long
This stooge interviews are on bugset stooge DVD's. The one without the comedy shorts. Larry is sad to see just before his death. Moe tells about Curley becoming sick and then Shemp joins on with them. The Joe.s are boring fill-ins to keep the stooges afloat.
Hack joke from a hack listener of a hack host, you hit the trifecta of shit!
if you weren't such a looser. maybe you would have some pull on your work schedule after 30+ years.
Wow, you probably thought of that one for at least a few nights, didn't ya?
This stunt again proves that stern fans will gobble up any shit thrown at them, and still call him the the King.
people that aren't stern fans are stupid
Has any attempted nickname ever caught on LESS than "Hoo Hoo"?
How dare you speak of ron b as a hack! True he and fez are nothing without me and have gone nowhere since I left his lame ass.
Look up the word "hack" below o n a you'll see ron b
You people have some serious anger issues. I know some of you have not been with a woman in a long time and you are seriously backed up and that is making you crazy. I suggest some lotion and tissues so you dont go out and molest a young boy later on tonight you fucking freaks!!
I remember this bit. It's funny but it is old! Lincoln take off the hat, don't eat the brown acid?? Is that the one? 10-15 years?
