Below are the top 20 Orbitcast posts from 2007 in terms of unique visits to each article page. I'm not saying that these are the "best of" Orbitcast posts - hardly - just the ones that garnered the most attention around the interweb.

It's amazing when you look back. All the crazy events that occured in such a short amount of time. For an industry that - in the grand scheme of things - is relatively small, satellite radio sure has its fair share of stories to tell.
Happy New Year everyone! See you "next year" (yuk yuk).

Ryan, great job this year. I am disappointed that you chose to give the bogus "ratings" story more life. The methodology was horseshit, and it provides more fuel for the Howard succubus machine.
Nevertherless, hny, and best for '08.

Ryan, thank you for Orbitcast, now my only choice for Satrad news.
Best wishes for the New Year...regardless of the merger outcome ;-)
Any chance you could post the list of top stories divided by the number of days since they were posted? That might be a better picture of the news.
Though there is a certain je ne sais quoi about the Big Three "shock jocks" all having bigger stories than the frickin' merger announcement.
You can add to # 14 , the day Orbitcast.com went down also .
Yes, I'll echo the great job you've done. I am vehemently opposed to the merger, and even though there's always a few folks who prefer insults to debate whenever I raise a point (Usually the same people) I always enjoy the chance to voice my opinion. I started out this year always checking Siriusbuzz.com first, but that guy is so obviously paid by one of Sirius' PR firms to pump the merger, that I don't even bother going there anymore. Keep up the good work.
@teeheejimmy: The thing that I'm most upset about is that I lost my momentum in writing up my "debunking the Arbitron numbers" post. I started it, but stuff just got in the way and I dropped the ball. Maybe I'll bring it back (when Arbitron releases their next set of numbers... which you KNOW they'll do.)
Thank you all for being such dedicated readers of this blog. I started it a little over 3 years ago, and NEVER imagined that Orbitcast would grow into what it is. I pour my heart and soul into this site everyday, and it's simply amazing to me the response everyone has sent me.
I know it sounds cheesy/cliche/whatever, but without the help, participation, loyalty and feedback from everyone - this site would never be possible. I really feel OBLIGED to deliver something of quality to you guys, everyday.
But enough with the sappy stuff. 2008 is here, and it's time to go to the next level. It's time to REALLY have some fun. Thank you everyone for a great year!
The top story is OrbitCast itself.
Great site, great info and great job, Ryan. Happy New Year.
Though there is a certain je ne sais quoi about the Big Three
The French have a saying........ I don't know what it is ......... I don't know sayings.
