like there was much if a choice. Sirius carries the NBA. Of course they "chose" Sirius Canada.

What are we going to here next? The Seattle Mariners have "selected" XM Radio to be their official satellite radio sponsor?

You may think it's obvious, NWXM dude, BUT if you went to a Washington Redskins game last year, they have advertisements for XM everywhere. XM managed to be the official sponsor for either the team or the stadium (forget which), and so go their logos in the entrances, programs, and some of the pre-game events. They even gave away XM radios to some.

Teams are free to make indepedent deals outside of the league. It's not the obvious thing some would expect.

...and XM has the NCAA exclusively, but Sirius is a sponsor for Notre Dame's post-game conferences.

ok...so I guess I am ass.

Yeah, my tone seemed a little harsh. Sorry about that.

"...and XM has the NCAA exclusively, but Sirius is a sponsor for Notre Dame's post-game conferences"

Ummmm XM does not have the NCAA exclusively. SIRIUS does have NCAA Basketball tournament exclusively though.
