U.S. Electronics has filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking the release of documents relating to the compliance of Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. and
XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. with FCC
regulations. The company feels the documents shed light on Sirius and XM's "past failure" to abide by FCC conditions of their licenses. U.S. Electronics feels that this information is "directly relevant to the FCC's determination whether the public interest will be served or harmed" by a merger of Sirius and XM, according to the suit.
The information in these documents relate to Sirius and XM's non-compliance with various FCC regulations, including:
- Failure to make available an interoperable radio
- Non-compliance with tower and antenna placement authorization and allowable transmitting levels
- "Deliberately" exceeding FCC emission standards.
"These companies are fighting awfully hard to keep these documents from seeing the light of day; it makes you wonder what they are trying to hide," said Kathy Wallman, spokesperson for U.S. Electronics.

“U.S Electronics has outlined a specific open access proposal for the FCC to consider. Some sector followers believe that open access is a concession that could carry some weight with at least some of the FCC commissioners. While the U.S. Electronics proposal would take away the ability of Sirius and XM to make their own hardware, it would also make the “interoperable radio” as well as the “HD chipset inclusion” issues virtually disappear because the merged company would no longer be in the hardware business”.

I have never seen such bullshit in my entire life. I can't believe Sirius is putting up with this shit. The bullshit just goes on and on. Can't someone stop the pain. It proves one thing the shareholders are getting tired, all this stupid shit, they had a great day, lots of volume, stock went up 9 cents. I think people are catching on. Realizing these stupid bastards need mel more than the other way around. Hey assholes let this happen, let these companies move on. Your old school, let the new tech in. My god there must be a law against this nonsense. Mel, i've said it before let it go, you will still bury these idiots. I speak for all of us we love SIRIUS Radio. Charles M Scott
please, i need to know what happened to Cramer? When the chips are down, he hides. I remember his video how he was going to take these crooks down. Name names, challenge them to come on his show so he could expose them. Is he in hiding? Cement shoes, what? This guy was so pro satellite, i almost took a liking to him. Where is he when we need him. I've tried countless times to find an email to write the street. com they won't put it out there. Anyone have an email address?? Thanks Charles Scott
He's an entertainer... as soon as sirius is in the spotlight again... he will be hooting, holloring and booyah-ing. Don't hold out for Cramer. He's a joke.
Thanks, i guess i already thought he was, its just ashamed. Alot of good chatter from him.
Where is he when we need him? Cramer is home listening to his HD Radio, the technology of future radio.
They / we have every right to know what they are hiding.
who in business isn't hiding something. come on people, let these companies. move on. Like all these clowns in NAB and our government aren't hiding something. what world do you live in, charles scott.

Its at the bottom of the Mad Money homepage. Keep an eye on your email because they will contact you the day of.
This Wallman creature is a walking joke. First, in her podcast with Ryan, she dictates to us all that we MUST "put aside" US Electronics suit against Sirius. Now they're making a big deal out of this insignificant issue, with Ms. Wallman stoking conspiracy theories.
They're not afraid to answer you, Ms. Wallman- they are simply ignoring you for the cockroach that you are.
Imagine this little dump of a diode manufacturing company making this stink. In the meantime, NOT ONE other manufacturer cares.
I call for a boycott of any U.S. Electronics products. They were the manufacturers of the X-act series of satellite radios. I will never, ever buy one of these for myself or any family member, nor will I ever recommend one of their products to anyone. These poor bastards are pretty desperate. The ticker symbel is USEL.PK and it last traded for $0.0001 per share on December 13th. Someone should sue these bastards since you can't find any financial information on them at all.
Boycott U.S. Electronics aka AC, Max,
More uneducated comments from the peanut gallery, not that we'd expect anything different. Nothing but blind, ignorant satradio fanboys desperate for a "merge" because Sirius and xm said so, and everyone else in the process to their tiny little minds is wrong. Ms. Wallman, Kevin Martin, members of the NAB, members of the FCC have higher credibility than most here, they are doing their JOBS, just like US Electronics is doing their JOB. If US Electronics forces OPEN technology while pointing out all of Sirius and xm's failures to follow agreements made, GREAT thats called PRO-CONSUMER.
Minds are a terrible thing to waste.

This is a pathetically minor player in the electronics field- almost a non-entity. Does anyone know what products they make that are sold to OEM's and retail??? Perhaps we can get something going in the blogosphere.

FUAC!!
NOW IT MAKES SENSE! This is why the XACT line of Sirius receivers was SOOOOOO…. DEFECTIVE! Thanks for the heads up MAX. My neighbor was a manager at the local bog box retailer where I bought my XACT XTR1 in "05. After exchanging it THREE times in four months I gave up WHAT A P.O.S!!!!! I’m sure XACT/USE was happy to piss off satellite customers with their defective products now that we see their true nature. Fortunately my buddy switched me to a SANYO receiver that has functioned flawlessly ever since. He said they dropped the XACT line soon after due to excessive customer dissatisfaction. Check out some of the reviews on this product at amazon.com You’ll notice of positive reviews mostly begin with the statement “I just bought” the overwhelming negative reviews reflect people with months of ownership. I only found one with years of ownership.

Fun:
My kids received this as a Christmas gift from my in-laws. Took it out of the box, plugged it in, and it immediately froze up. Restarted it and it seemed fine, but then froze up repeatedly. We followed all of the advice on the support website, and finally called tech support. They advised us to mail it back and it would be 2-3 weeks for repair. When I took it to my local UPS store, the guy there said he sees about 12 per week being returned for repair, with some people saying it takes 2-3 months, not weeks. I am sorry that my in-laws wasted their money on this piece of @#$$%! I would never buy or recommend an xBox 360 to anyone because of this experience.

HP Pavilion display problems. Poor quality.
I have a HP dv8230us..not the same model as this one but still an HP. I have the same problem(my first vertical line showed up yesterday). There are plenty of people throughout the web with this problem, and HP doesn't take responsibility for their poor craftsmanship. DO NOT SUPPORT HEWLETT PACKARD!
