Valerie Plame Wilson, the former covert CIA officer whose leaked identity resulted in a national political scandal, will appear on “The Bob Edwards Show” on XM Public Radio (ch 133) on Thursday, October 25, at 8:00 am ET.
Wilson also appeared this afternoon on the XM show “1600” hosted by Rebecca Roberts on POTUS ’08 (ch 130).
Wilson’s autobiography Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House, was published on Tuesday.
Encore airings of Bob Edwards' interview with Wilson will air Thursday at 9am, 10am, and 8pm, plus Friday at 7am (all times ET).

she wasn't covert. the drive-by media portrayed her as such
yes, she was covert at the time of the Bush administrations outing of her:

If you define "covert" as seen in the movies, then, no, she was not. Traveling under cover is covert. Stop blaming the media and start blaming the administration.
I'm not one to blindly defend this administration, but....
if: a) she was legally "covert"
and b) outing a covert agent is illegal
then why was no one ever charged with this crime??
"if: a) she was legally "covert"
and b) outing a covert agent is illegal"
This is the worst administration in US history....
Dick Cheney is a war criminal.... Ole' Scooter railroaded the Wilsons...Bush, Rove, Cheney and ALL the cronies need a one way ticket to The Hague...
Btw, Valerie Plame Wilson is kinda hot.
I agree - War Crimes Tribunal for POTUS.
If she was a real spy would she be talking about it in the radio? Go away whore.
OK Joe, Jimbo, whatever - but you didn't answer the question:
If outing Valerie Plame was a crime, why was the person responsible never charged? All the investigations, all the media hype, and no one was ever charged with outing her.
I was referred to a very good commentary on the Plame incident. I highly recommend it.

She's not really a spy. Spy's carry heat, shoot and get shot at. I seriously doubt if she ever had weapons or stealth training. She was an office manager at the CIA, that's not the same as being a "spy". She had a secret clearance, big deal. Descriptions of her as being a glorified secretary are more accurate than not - you'd be surprised what some secretaries do - some have hugely responsible positions! The only reason she's in the news is because the media makes money off hot blondes. The only reason she got a book deal was because publishers love press junkets that feature a hot blonde. She's a fabulous blonde and nothing else. But then again, what more do you need?

Turn off FauxNews and read a paper or something.
-Scooter Libby would have went to jail for obstruction of Justice, except GWB gave him the get out of jail free card. He was covering for Dick Cheney and Carl Rove.
The fact is that she cannot disclose all of her duties for her FORMER employer. It is very UN-American being a RAT.
Jimbo -
Scooter Libby was convicted of lying to a grand jury about when he told what to whom. The jury was convinced he lied on purpose, and that's fine with me. He should be convicted and punished appropriately. But he was never charged with outing Valerie Plame. No one was. Her name was leaked by Richard Armitage - no friend of the neocons, just a Washington gossip. Armitage was never charged with anything. Why not? Seems to me it's probably because she didn't fit the definition of covert under the law. In any case, if you were really interested in punishing the guilty, you'd be calling for Richard Armitage's head, not invoking some Cheney/Rove conspiracy.
