I am very pleased with the app. I was using it at home on wifi, left the app running as I walked out to our garage, got in the car, drove 5 miles to work, and got back on the corporate wifi. I never lost the connection, and there was never a drop in the quality.

Sh*t app for a Sh*t radio service.

Clearly, with 18+ million subscribers..it's such shit service......

The thing that bothers me most is SXM published a screenshot of the app 1 month ago WITH HOWARD 100 ON THE SCREEN! My instinct is AT&T wouldn't allow the channel due to network concerns (just like they weren't ready for MMS), but Mel f'd up once again in communicating with subscribers. Once Stern leaves, I'm done.

No Howard=Worthless App. Fail on all levels.

No Howard=Worthless App. Fail on all levels.

Does Sirius make money for I-tune purchases? Do they make a percentage at all? Why wouldn't they create there own shop and sell some more things for an additional revenue stream...

17+ million and half of those are sitting on car lots not being used and the rest are people with multiple Subs and discounted too because when you call to cancel they give you 3 free months over and over . Face it SiriusFm shit the bed .

I heard about this application thank god I didn't fall for this one from Sirius. This company has a bad CEO and just plain awful marketing. I am sorry but I am just waiting for it to go to a point where I can recover the money I have lost already on this company. At one point it was interesting but now it is just plain stupid to invest in this company. Hello, you have Backseat TV, promote the darn thing. Offer more TV channels. Have commercials on TV! and offere more channels on Iphone! Get one website and rebrand the company to be either XM, Sirius or something totally new. This company is run by incompetent people with overpaid salaries.

"Sh*t app for a Sh*t radio service" is right to say nothing about duped, ignorant sub's like Anonymous making bogus claims and worse has yet to understand paying for radio is for newbs and suckers. (just like Melvin likes them)

Why do you guys come to this page then?

Howard is stale, lame talent anyway.

have you ever watched someone do something dumb (paying for radio in this case) and then watch them complain about it . I have to tell ya it's fun . Sirius has shit on it's customers over and over and people keep falling for them .

sirius iphone app is on par with the new coke recipe!

remember that gigantic mistake?

That may be true, but he's one of the biggest names and draws for the company (so much so that numerous blogs/commentors/forums all have a mention that Howard is not included in the app. Whether he is talent or not (of course, in your opinion) his name is synonymous with the service.

NO Howard 100 or 101 useless . If you go to ITunes there are over 600 comments that say the same thing! NO HOWARD STERN !!!!!@

Anonymous,

Wrong again. Howard and "his name is synonymous with" radio. However since 2005 he has learn he made the wrong choice for him, his career, his talent, his show, aand his listeners. Howard is much bigger than siriusxm and sadly "the service" has become a nothing crutch for him and his listeners.

HELLLLLLO Sirius XM!!! Do you even know Canada exists? There are over 30 million people up here, Toronto is the 7th largest city in North America. Stop forgetting about us and make this app available for all.

Let's clear a few things up:
1. Most people who listen to SiriusXM don't listen to it because of Howard, they listen to it because regular, commercial-filled radio, purely sucks.

2. 18 million subscribers are those who have activated, not cars sitting on lots, sure, multiple subs make up that, but still, you have a high number.

3. Nobody cares about Canada.

My opinion is:

Howard Stern is not the end all, and definitely not the reason why I am considering puchasing the Iphone. Remember that listeners are very diverse; and as such may enjoy varied types of audio media.

Truthfully, I would prefer to listen to commentators who discuss topics such as health care, the sciences or another topic that will help me be a better provider of health care and healthier consumer (mentally, socially & physically). Plus, since I don't have a lot of time to read the news, I want to listen to the news when commuting to and from work.

In addition, like many people, I do not choose spend an entire day, that God gave m, listening to MUSIC! I personnally consider this a waste of my time.

God Bless.

Guess I'm in the minority here. I never cared for Howard on TR or Sirius. Listened his first day for 20 minutes on Sirius 100 because it was an historic moment. Never went back.

There are LOTS of channels on Sirius that attracted me before Howard leaped from TR. Music, news, comedy, politics, NPR, niche channels like OutQ and more. I have four subs and won't part with any of them voluntarily.

I hope Sirius can hang on through the recession and then come back with a bang. It has a lot of unrealized potential, but right now may not be the best time to roll out bold new services. In the meantime, it is 1000% better than old TR or the barely existent HD radio.
