Check out video of Howard's appearance on Conan last night. It was definitely a funny and good showing. Even talked about Martha's interview (and her using a vibrator, fighting off lesbian sex in prison, wearing no panties, etc). A good plug for satellite radio in general, but of course great exposure for Sirius.

last i checked, regardless of who the guest was all late night shows were not impacted by different guest, unless that guest was someone who was reciently part of some huge controvercy.
In the past, Howard appearances always gave Dave a ratings bump.

It used to be that Howie only did Letterman and when he did, it was an event. Now he will go on any show to plug Sirius. He is now Mel's promo Whore. If he and Sirius had so many listeners he would not be doing "the rounds".

but, but, If you don't count females over 35, and subtract that 5 min. that are counted for the Late Late Show, and umm ummm something else we are in 2nd place behind Telemondo.
You just dont get it, Howard has already been and done all that, And left (on his own, could have signed for 5 more years at your boys station) to start over with A much smaller audience. We all know he dosn't have the same amount of listeners, But is building it up. We get A few 100,000 more every Q. The more people find out about SAT. the faster everyone on boring radio will be doing local weather and news only.

Nooooooooooooooo it is because Leno is a dope. You can not honestly tell me that Leno conducts compelling interviews. The Mel Gibson interview was a walk in the park for Mel. Same goes for Letterman with Kramer but Leno is a push over. And even if I wasn't a Howard fan I would say the same thing about the similarity of his bits that Howard has done before.
