It's a humanizing piece, and while it's providing the "Softer Side" of Stern in talking about his background, it's also the first time I've seen a mention of Howard in the media without talking about the "raunchy" and "shocking" material. They never represented the Howard Stern Show from that angle at all and it's almost... disappointing?

Not a big deal really, the 60 Minutes demographic is definitely not the same as the average Stern listener, so it's understandable.

Howard is a tired old man desparate to get back to 15 years ago when he actually had listeners. This is just another ploy to try and get some suckers to go to Sirius. Opie and Anthony are the next generation and bury him with their shows. Listen to them once and you'll see. Howard didn't invent everything!!

Howard is so much better then O and A. I guess you forgot the O and A has a 0.0 in about three states. that really bad.

Chris, you just don't get the show. You're not smart enough to get the humor. No other broadcaster has done what Howard has done, he revolutionized radio...that's where Opie and Anthony got their whole concept from. He has been successful in radio, television, movies, and in book formats, you can't deny this. He has influenced tons of entertainers and some have just ripped him off completely. He has been able to gather millions to Sirius and continues to be funny on a daily basis. It must be sad to be you, a person who just doesn't have a very good sense of humor and loves the mainstream media's crappy attempt at entertainment. Stern appeals to those of us who don't think like the morons of everyday life. HOWARD STERN IS THE KING!
