Video: XM on NBC's "Nashville Star" - Orbitcast

Here's a quickie video segment of XM Radio making an appearance on NBC's "Nashville Star." Of course, this is thanks to "Nashville Star Radio," which is the weekly radio show that airs on XM in connection with the popular NBC music competition.

This segment aired Monday night, June 16th, on the 2nd episode of the NBC reality show. Hopefully there's more of this type of exposure to come.

What does this have to do with me taking them over though?

Poor xm getting their last 15 minutes? IF Melvin Alan "Mel" Karmazin "merge" scheme is approved, xm will sadly be a footnote in history.

I love Nashville Star and the Radio program as well. Glad to see XM getting well deserved media attention! GO XM!!

yawn.

Im sorry, thats the final straw. Oribitcast RSS will now be removed from my homepage. It was fun but this merger fucking sucks. Thanks a lot Siriots. I was the biggest satellite radio fan i know (out of dozens of people). And now im out.

Double yawn... could we have something new please Ryan?

A story on Kevin Martin's California gay marriage possibly?
I understand that's where he really is this week.

Martin and Copps.... who would have thunk it?

OH MY!

Haha look at Scott cry like a little bitch. Probably one of the two pests. Fat fucking overweight nobody stuck in his mothers basement trying to get a satellite signal.

Bye Scott. Nobody likes you and nobody will miss you and 0.0 when your both gone. Just like XM. Taken over by a better and more well managed company.

As a current Sirius sub I am not at all celebrating that Melvin Alan "Mel" Karmazin "merge" scheme is killing xm. Wish xm would step up and fight instead of rolling over and playing dead, if they did XM could have a future.

To all those suggesting that Mel is pulling a fast one:

1. XM's CEO and BOD approved and feels this is in their Co's best interest.
2. You lost the satrad war, be happy that Mel would pick your sorry company up.
3. You have a 15% of refinancing your debt without Sirius.
4. Chrissake ... you can't even come up with MLB's 120 Million escow... you spent it.

Who the hell do you guys think you are. Xm ain't jack shit without Sirius and Sirius is only slightly John Shit without XM.

Plowboy,

Too much "YOU". "YOUR" too attached and show too much emotion. It's not good to cheerlead and make risky investments.

XM has lost nothing, your blind to Melvin's "merge" scheme which will damage if not destroy the satradio industry.

Neither satradio company would be as good as they are without direct competition.

How are the subs on both sides of satellite radio?

F.Y.I. It's reached its peak just like beta max and hd dvd did.

I'm waiting for free, better, technology!
