Vince Gill Debuts His New CD Set on SIRIUS
Country music singer Vince Gill will debut his new 4-disc set These Days for SIRIUS Satellite Radio listeners this Friday, October 20th. The four-disc box set of bluegrass, acoustic and mainstream country, rock and jazz is being released today by Universal.
Gill will be on the following Sirius channels on Friday:
- SIRIUS New Country (ch 60): Gill will visit with host Jessica Wade to play and talk about selections from his new box set (3pm ET).
- SIRIUS Bluegrass (ch 65): Gill will explore his bluegrass roots and play some of his favorite bluegrass recordings (including his own) with host Joey Black (5pm ET).
- SIRIUS Prime Country (ch 61): Gill will talk all about his expansive new box set with host Kim Ashley (7pm ET).
Vince Gill has more CMA (Country Music Association) awards than any other performer and has been awarded 17 GRAMMYS since 1990, the most for any country artist.

You would think he would have wanted to premier it on the Satellite Company WITH decent Country Channels :)

I'm no big country music fan.
But Vince Gill is, without a doubt, one of the most talented guitarists around today. Rock music could well benefit from having some players on his level. There aren't many.
