WorldSpace Satellite Radio will be broadcasting from the Virgin Festival at Pimlico Racetrack in Baltimore on WorldSpace's UPop channel. Live reports from the festival as well as exclusive backstage interviews will be broadcast all day Saturday, September 23rd.
The one-day festival will feature over 20 acts on 3 stages (2 outdoor performance stages and 1 within a tent) featuring artists such as The Raconteurs, Wolfmother, Gnarls Barkley, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, DJ Tiesto and a few more.
WorldSpace will also carry the Virgin Festival via "U-Podcasts" on their website, and will feature replays throughout the month on Bob (WorldSpace ch 177), Spin (WorldSpace ch 44), and Voyager (WorldSpace ch 11).
XM Satellite Radio subscribers also get UPop (ch 29), as well as DirecTV subscribers (ch 824) and if that doesn't cut it, its also available on AOL Radio.
