In a refreshing change from the "XM vs SIRIUS" discussion you usually see in media outlets, CNN today has a piece on the benefits of the services from the eyes of two subscribers. There's no arguing or name calling, just a very personable way of highlighting how both XM and SIRIUS are unique - from each other, and especially from terrestrial radio.

So..... Stern vs Music? Music, any day. I dont care what region Fred plays, the channel is great.
Uh. Thats an interesting point of view. Having 6 or 7 extra channels of music doesn't really make XM the "choice for music." Both of these services will have big holes until they merge. 2008 there will be two more licenses and it will happen. Until then they can feed off each other by getting the interoperable technology going. If both companys can grab 1 million subs at 6-9 bucks a sub they will be in good shape. Well that might be a bit much, lets say they won't go bankrupt.
Seems like the XM guy is getting more out of his service, but to each his own I suppose.
Sirius has MUSIC TOO!!!!! I thought those channels were extra.
No...That is XM that likes to charge extra for stuff!
Funny, the XM guy doesn't seem to realize that there is a free-form channel, it's called FineTuning-76.
Wake up SatRad people, it is satellite radio versus the NAB.
