Jeff Fillion on XMXM Canada has signed the controversial jock, "Le Pirate" Jeff Fillion, to a five-year exclusive agreement. Fillion will host a new morning show, "The Pirate of the Airwaves" on XM Satellite Radio's French channel, SportsPlus (ch 172), starting on September 4th, 2006.

Jeff Fillion at his peak had twice as many listeners as his nearest competitor, but due to his politically incorrect comments - the CRTC refused to renew his station's license in 2004, and he was subsequently fired in 2005.

he's a shock jock, eh?

Sorry, HAD to do that!

Did ya?

I wonder is he does "Frenchitorials"?

So is the whole show in French?

XMBRIAN, did you mean... shocque jocques?

He was the only jock in quebec that told his listeners to put up american flags to support the troops a few years back while the others were against such displays of support. Very pro-USA.

Everything on the French channels are in....French.

So how do you say "boobs" in French?

i can't wait for fouettez-eux-hors mercredi.
