XM Comedy remembers Bernie Mac

XM today is remembering the life and legacy of comedian Bernie Mac, who died on Saturday from complications of pneumonia. He was 50.

XM Comedy (ch 150) will air specials in the memory of Bernie Mac on the top of every hour today, from 6am-10pm ET.

Bernie Mac, (real name: Bernard Jeffery McCullough) was born on October 5, 1957 and grew up in Chicago's South Side. In recent years, Mac had suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. Mac was recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.

On August 9th, Mac died from complications of pneumonia that was unrelated to sarcoidosis

First,thanks for the years of laughter Bernie,R.I.P.
It's about time.I thought neither XM or Sirius would play any of his comedy.

Patrick Rodgers is a loser.

This is what I can't wait for to start happening more on Sirius as well. Im hopefull that XM will influence Sirius programming a little more for specials like this. XM does this all the time and Sirius usually lacks. What is Sirius doing?
