I/P Update has a very interesting post about the Copyright Royalty Board announcing proceedings regarding the terms of recording digital audio channels through satellite television. Very curious indeed.
Looking through the sections, I can't help but to think of XM+Napster - are they trying to apply it to DirecTV? It could also just be that they're ironing out the details for the RIAA so that only XM needs to pay for the licensing fees and not DirecTV. If anyone can decypher the legal talk, feel free to comment about it to clear things up.
