XM Satellite Radio is kicking off the second year of their partnership with the IndyCar Series this Sunday (March 26th) with the 2006 season opener for Indy - the Toyota Indy 300 Presented by XM Satellite Radio at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Not only will you hear the whine of 3-liter engines hitting blistering RPMs, but this weekend will also feature the high-energy sounds of Shinedown, performing for free for race fans at 1:30pm on Sunday. On April 2nd, XM Satellite Radio will present Hoobastank following the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Catch the entire 2006 IndyCar season (including the 90th Indy 500 on May 28th) on XM Channel 145.
