So yeah, we all learned yesterday that the Pioneer Inno won the CNET People Voice Award at CES, but a press release was also issued celebrating the fact that it won PC Magazine's Last Gadget Standing. Woohoo!

Dr. Stell Patsiokas, XM Executive VP of Technology and Engineering, accepted the prestigious award from CNET editors Brian Cooley, Tom Merritt, and Molly Wood during the ceremony at CES. You can tell he's one happy man.

Hi,searched for a place to post this... hope I am OK.

Saw on CNBC where Brian Cooley said that XM is trying to be included in new car installations.

I was wondering if any of the following has potetial:

1. Include a generic Sat Radio in new cars where a chip could be plugged in to designate the service.

2. To incent installations make advertiser supported channels free and only charge for the commercial free channels. This would make it very competitive with regular radio, With this I feel most folks would add a Sat radio to their new cars.

Either or both of these would surely improve market penetration.
