With the introduction of the Pionner Inno and Samsung Helix, advertisers looking to capture the 'small screen' audience now have a new opportunity available to them. XM is now selling ad inventory to be displayed on the Inno's color screen - currently limited to still logos and artwork. Soon though, the XM2go receivers will have the ability to display moving graphics and video clips (via JPEG video).
The service has just been launched, so there's alot of ad inventory available - but advertisers looking to tap into a very captive satellite radio audience should definitely look into this. Eventually we will see push-to-purchase functionality - allowing for not just an alternative delivery - but instantaneous purchases (and tracking).

Do you think it is possible for XM radio to transmit, both audio and video from thier satellites?
So lets say you are listening to a show on XM, would it be cool to also see that show in your car?
